The long history of coret guitar dates back to 1960, when young park's father, the founder, started the piano import business. Ultimately, the business evolved into a simultaneous production and sale of pianos, culminating in the introduction of the guitar industry in 1973. During that time, the company was an oem supplier. The company officially changed its name to cort military industries and introduced cort's autonomous brand product in 1982. In the initial phase, cort's main objective was to enhance the development of samples by producing classicly designed products that were well received by oem clients in the 560s.
