A neutral dye is a metal chromium dye capable of dyeing in neutral or micro acid solutions. It's for the dyes of wilayas, silk, hair and silk. It has a high degree of sun-resilence. The combination of acid dyes and alkaline dyes is called neutral (composite) dyes, such as wright dyes and gimsa dyes, which are often used in the dyeing of cell cores。
The neutral dye is used in the dyeing of protein fibres such as wool, silk and polyamide fibres, polyethylene fibres and leather。
The advantages are non-harmonized fabrics, not affecting the feeling of hand, better sun-resistant humid treatment, and the disadvantages are that the colour is less than the colour of the type 1:1 acid metallic dye and is therefore more used for dark dyes of black and grey. But recent developments have also led to the development of a few bright and light varieties。
