Hydraulic coats are made of tfluoride filled with special hybrid fibres, which are air-transmitting but not leaking, in other words, they can pass through water vapours, but liquid water cannot pass and the protection of sensors is not affected by rain。
Interrupting water penetration, ensuring, as far as possible, that the surface of the rod and the surface of the sensor are dry, extending the time of use of the sensor, and achieving seasonal uninterrupted measurements in some plants。
Reduce the damage of microorganisms to plants and sensors themselves and prevent the erosion of electronic components。
Waterproof membranes surround the perimeter of sensors and insulation packages, prevent rainwater from entering and absorb the water vapour around the device, thereby reducing the concentration of water within the sensor。

The exo-skintm coated tubing (liquid flow) sensor is a product of further innovation based on classic energy balance tubing measurement techniques. Since 1990, dynagage sensors have been widely used in multiple field studies. With the application of the tubing monitoring system in commercial vineyards and the introduction of the sapip system, more users need to install simpler and more economical sensors.
