Silicon resin 3005 is a 100% silicon resin compound with nlgi #2 (median rigidity). It is made of pdms silicone/polydimethyl siloxane (cas #63148-62-9) and inert silicon dioxide filling. Silicon resin 3005 is characterized by a wide work temperature, high electrical intensity, good lubrication, inertity on almost all rubber and plastic surfaces, and corrosive and tidal resistance。

Silicon 3005 is inert for almost all of the base materials except silicon rubber, and is widely used for lubricating o circles, gaskets, valves and seals, as well as surfaces that require long-term excellent lubrication performance without drying. Surfaces that are not recommended for metal lubrication or that will be sprayed or refined. However, it is an excellent lubricant for metal-plastic and metal-rubber applications。
