On 15 july 2015, china's internet association, the information centre of the ministry of industry and information technology jointly published in kyoto a list of “100 china's internet enterprises” for 2015. Ali baba, tent, baidu, kyeongdong, qihu, 360, search foxes, e-news, new wave, transport, and house search are among the top 10 places on the internet in china in 2015。
Since 2013, china's internet association and the information centre of the ministry of industry and information technology have published annually a list of top 100 chinese internet enterprises. The evaluation was based primarily on internet enterprise development data for 2014, including publicly available data on corporate self-reporting, financial reporting by listed companies, and research results from third-party research institutions. Data statistics use the methodology of calculating composite indicators to select a number of indicators to calculate the scores of enterprises on the four dimensions of enterprise size, social impact, development potential and social responsibility, with the weighted average of the total scores obtained as the basis for ranking. Evaluation indicators cover both financial indicators such as income, profits, human capital and operational indicators such as flows and active users。
In 2015, china's 100-strong ranking of internet enterprises was guided, supported and endorsed by the ministry of industry and information technology and its relevant departments.
