It's not gonna work

After 2026, the words “to live tight” were no longer the same. The new regulations are being implemented, from meetings to training, from travel to reception, and many of the previously “reportable” operating spaces are being collected under one article. The more immediate change is that you used to feel like reimbursement of points of human interest and experience is now a point criterion and a mark。

What about the maintenance of office equipment

You might have seen the kind of complaints that are common on the internet: how to have a meeting like an event, how to train like a tourist, how to go on a trip without being skinny, and how to spend it. It's hard to walk these roads now. Because this is not an ad hoc slogan, it is a system to block “mouths”: non-compliance costs are not included in the reimbursement process, and the books are open to reconciliation. To put it bluntly, the wallets on the side of the organ will be tighter, but not to “do less”, but to stop what should not be spent and concentrate the rest。

The rhythm of many of the former units was as follows: to meet, to choose the venue to the “behaviour” level; to train, to extend the time and arrange a seemingly “retributive” journey; to investigate, to be afraid of being followed by no one, to be accompanied by a level of escort to make the scene look good; and to report traffic to the public, even if it is done in the city. You think you're just used to it, and it turns out it's a lot of costs。

The way forward is clear. For example, meeting costs. It was common in the past that the conference rooms were “decent”, that the hotel slots followed, that the meeting meal was better than usual and that even gifts were arranged. Regulations and enforcement lines push the line down: do not run away from the unit, do it on a small scale; do it on the line as much as possible. The cost of meals is also more “work-oriented” and the focus is not on eating, but not on high quality, not on liquor boards, and not on souvenirs. You'll find that a lot of people used to report on their feelings, and now they're using their cards。

The same applies to training fees. The two words of training have been used in the past with some flexibility. The same superficial course allows for the negotiation of different fee lines; the same arrangement allows for the insertion of items that are less relevant to the job and uses the term “expanding” “visiting” to bring time and budget apart. The idea is very clear: training is directly related to work and can be done in a way that does not go out of the field; agencies do not pick up expensive ones at a standard rate. It is even less permissible for the budget to be “refilled” with hospitality and gifts。

Travel and research are the most moving parts of many people. In many cases in the past, “looks busy”, but missions do not necessarily match itineraries. The telephone calls are clear, and many people follow “the importance” and the research ends in a circle and ends with the payment of a single sum. The focus of the regulation this time is that there is no need to travel without a clear mandate; that research should not become an “accompaniment show”, that numbers should be kept under control and that the practice of “one-person research, a group of people following” should be specifically targeted; and that short-distance traffic in the city should be made more prudent and that access to public transport should not be used as “necessary taxis”。

The tightening of receptions can also frustrate some of the “old experience”. In the past, a number of units had been visited, inspected and arranged without a letter, on the grounds that “the leadership has said so”. More emphasis is placed on the fact that no official correspondence is received and that no official arrangements are made to cover the costs. What class to eat, whether to go to a high-class place, whether to mix private dinners — these have been reduced by oral explanations. The number of escorts will also be limited and the cost of reception will be more standard-based and headcount-based。

Buss and office accommodations are the more visible and controversial part of the “face”. In some places before the use of vehicles for official purposes, there were problems of “go-and-go”: renting cars for high-quality vehicles, inadequate refuelling of insurance maintenance, and the removal of traces from private cars. Emphasis is now placed on the need for vehicle usage to conform to office attributes, cost details to be documented, and the private portion not to be covered in public accounts. The same applies to office buildings and renovations, where the problems of luxury decorations, super-standard construction and wasteful use are no longer “depreciation of the past”, but rather have more rigid boundaries: simple practicality, space and construction must go by standard and go beyond what has to be taken off, to work, rather than to continue there。

At this point, you'll find that the middle is not just “less money”. It's doing something even more annoying: putting every penny in a verifiable box. Even office supplies, festivals and labour outsourcing, which appear to be “day-to-day small things”, are brought into the same logic. The paper should not be wasted, the high-priced equipment should not be bought; the activities should be kept out of line and simple; the outsourced services should have the substance, the contracts should not be fictional and the services should be issued in a well-known manner. The most uncomfortable aspect is that it is even more difficult to spend money at the end of the year on such operations: budgets that are not well thought out and cannot be misused, budgetless do not squeeze, and costs are not being distributed downwards to other units and individuals。

Some people are concerned that this will not affect their work. The answer is usually “to be more pragmatic”. You may have seen things around you: things that have been delayed because resources have been spent first in “looking hot” places; jobs that have been done quickly because budgets are more focused and processes are clearer. The effect of living in a tight situation, if it were to be implemented, would be to cut off unnecessary actions and leave the resources that are needed. Education, health care, old age, rural revitalization and emergency response are not generally reduced by “savings”, which is also the underlying logic that this rotation is intended to convey: do nothing less。

But it's really stressful whether you and i can see change. For example, isn't it more practical for officials to meet later? Is training closer to the job? Are you running away from work? Is the reception less of the "sweet, unnecessary" arrangement? These questions are answered not by slogan, but by you in reality: will the same post, the same time, become more and more like an “officer”, rather than a “holy-working”。

You might think of a detail here: have you seen the layout of the meeting, the meal slot, the training schedule? If these things are kept tighter, where do you think the most immediate changes will end up: experience, efficiency, or books
