Thank you very much for your interest in and support for the security of my municipal charging infrastructure. With the rapid growth in the availability of new energy vehicles and electric bicycles, the safety of charging infrastructure is receiving increasing social attention. The recommendations you have made for comprehensive security inspections, enhanced risk screening and rectification, as well as clear sectoral oversight responsibilities, are highly relevant and relevant. Our bureau attaches great importance to this, holding thematic meetings to study deployments and actively contributing to the implementation of these efforts, taking into account the actual situation in our city。
Main work undertaken
(i) strengthen arrangements for deployment and tighten operational responsibilities. The directorate fully utilizes the integrated coordination function of the municipal safety council office, which integrates the security of charging infrastructure into the three-year operation and the annual focus of the operation on safe production throughout the city, with a focus on deployment. The establishment and issuance of a list of the responsibilities of the “three musts” and the further clarification of the responsibility for the security and supervision of charging facilities in the departments of issuance and improvement, building, fire protection, market supervision, correspondence, management of institutional services, electricity, etc., to ensure accountability and oversight. The cms has arranged for the deployment of security screening of hazards at charging facilities at two meetings, the “five ones”, high-temperature alerts, the national day, etc., and has conducted special inspections。
(ii) conducting special treatments and comprehensive risk mapping. In conjunction with the municipal fire and rescue division, the department of municipal construction, among others, conducts multiple rounds of special inspections of the charging facilities at key locations, such as residential neighbourhoods, underground garages, public parking lots and malls, including through secret raids and joint law enforcement. At the same time, the municipal fire and rescue division has led the organization of a full chain of operations for the management of safety hazards of electric bicycles.
