With a view to enhancing the relevance, applicability and readability of the farm house books, the agricultural press has for more than 30 years adhered to the aims of the organization, which serves schools, scientific research and the “three farmers” and has published a series of excellent books on agricultural science and technology, new rural construction and new types of vocational training for farmers. Since the launch of the “agricultural houses” project in 2008, china's agricultural publishing houses have been equipped with more than 400 books nationwide on such topics as rural renewal, poverty alleviation and science and technology for agriculture, contributing more than 4 million books and over 80 million yuan. The selection of books, which are well suited to the diverse and targeted needs of rural and agricultural modernization and cultural development in various regions, provides a strong spiritual strength and good social benefits for the rural population at large in their new journeys to a new era of excellence。
