The work of the boiler

Use of boilers and rationale: boilers are important heating equipment in the national economy. Electricity, machinery, metallurgical, chemical, textile, paper, food, etc., as well as industrial and civil heating, require large amounts of heat from boilers. I'm not sure

The boiler is a device that heats the mass (intermediate heat) to a certain parameter using heat or other energy released from fuel combustion. The boilers used to heat water to transform it into steam are called steam boilers, or steam generators. A boiler for heating water to make it hotter, called a hot water boiler; a boiler for heating organic heat carriers, called an organic heat carrier boiler。

From the point of view of energy use, boilers are an energy conversion device. In boilers, the chemical storage of primary energy (fuels) can be converted from combustion processes to the heat contained in combustion products (funges and ash slags) and then the heat is passed on to intermediate heat carriers (e. G. Water and steam) by means of heat transport to the heating equipment。

This intermediate heat carrier that transmits heat is a secondary energy source, because it's used to provide energy to energy devices. When an intermediate heater is used to convert heat in the heater, it is called "steve". If the intermediate heat carrier is simply transmitting to the heat equipment and providing heat for thermal use, it is commonly called the "heat media"。

The boilers, depending on their use, can be classified into four categories: power station boilers, industrial boilers, ship boilers and machine boilers. The first two are also referred to as fixed boilers because they are installed on a fixed basis and are not mobile. The latter two are called mobile boilers。

Three main processes are taking place in the boiler:

(1) fuel is burned inside the furnace and its chemical storage can be released in the form of thermal energy, so that flames and combustion products (smoke and ash) have high temperatures。

(2) high-temperature flames and flue gases transmit heat through "heated surfaces" to engineering (heat media)。

(3) the work mass (thermal) is heated, its temperature is increased or steamed to saturated steam, or it is further heated to overheated steam。

The above three processes are interrelated and carried out simultaneously, achieving energy transformation and transfer。

The conversion and transfer of energy is accompanied by the movement and change of substances:

(1) work quality, such as the supply of water (or return of water) into the boiler, which is finally produced in the form of vapour (or hot water)。

(2) fuels, such as coal, which enter the furnace and burn their flammable parts, together with the original water content, into the flue gas, with the original ash subdivision remaining as ash。

(3) the air is delivered into the furnace, in which oxygen is involved in the combustion reaction and excess air and reaction residual inert gases are discharged in the flue gas. The water and gas systems, the coal and the wind and smoke systems are the three main boiler systems, which work simultaneously。

The processes carried out on the side of fuel and flue gas (including combustion, heating, sludge, gas flow, etc.) are generally referred to as “inner process”; the processes carried out on the side of water, steam (flow of water and steam, heating, carburetorization, separation of soda, thermochemical process, etc.) are referred to as “inner process in the pot”。

Classification of boilers

I. Classification by purpose:

Power station boilers: used for power generation, mostly large-capacity, high-parameter boilers, fire room combustion, efficiency and export quality overheating steam。

2. Industrial boilers: for industrial production and heating, most are low-pressure, low-temperature, small-volume boilers, hotbed burning, less heat-efficient, export, steam-based boilers, and hot-water boilers。

3. Ship boilers

4. Truck boilers

Note boilers: used in oil fields for thermal extraction of dense oil, generally of high-pressure wet steam。

Ii. By structure:

1. Pipe boilers: the flue gas flows through the pipe, usually small-volume, low-parameter boilers, with low heat efficiency, but with simple structures, low water quality requirements and easy operation maintenance。

Pipe boilers: the soda flows through the tube and can be made of small capacity, low-parameter boilers or large-capacity, high-parameter boilers. Station boilers are generally pipe boilers, with high heat efficiency, but also with higher requirements for water quality and operational levels。

Iii. Classification by cycle

Natural circulation boilers

2. Multiple forced circulation boilers

3. Low multiple cycle boilers

4. Straight-flow boilers

5. Composite cycle boilers

Iv. Classification by quality pressure of boiler exports

1. Low pressure boilers: general pressure < 1. 275 mpa

2. Medium-pressure boiler: general pressure of 3. 825 mpa

3. High pressure boilers: general pressure of 9. 8 mpa

4. Super-high pressure boilers: 13. 73 mpa for general pressure

Subcritical pressure boilers: general pressure 16. 67 mpa 6. Supercritical pressure boilers: general pressure 22. 13 mpa

V. Classification by combustion pattern

1. Pyrotechnic boilers: mainly used in industrial boilers, including fixed furnaces, recalcitrant furnaces, etc。

2. Firehouse burning boilers: mainly for power station boilers, all for liquid fuel, gas fuel and coal powder

Boiling furnaces: the higher rate of air flow into the furnace allows large particles of coal to rise and burn in boiling beds above the stove, and small particles of coal to rise and burn with the air。

Vi. Classification by fuel or energy used

Solid fuel boilers: solid fuels such as coal combustion

Liquid fuel boilers: liquid fuels such as heavy oil combustion

Gaseous fuel boilers: gaseous fuels such as natural gas combustion

Vii. Classification by slag

1. Solid-state slag boilers

Liquid slag boilers

Viii. Frozen pressure by furnace

1. Negative-pressure boilers: the chamber pressure is maintained at negative pressure, with a delivery, wind engine, which is the main type of coal-fired boilers

Micro-propression boilers: chamber surface pressure 2-5kpa, free of wind-leaders, easy to burn with low oxygen

Ix. Categorization of boilers

1. One pan, two pans

X. Residual heat boilers: the use of residual heat from industries such as metallurgical and petrochemical

Atomic boilers: steam generators using heat from nuclear reactors as a source of heat

Waste hot boilers: boilers that use wastes such as garbage, bark, waste liquids as fuel

Other energy boilers: steam generators or water heaters using energy sources such as geothermal and solar energy。

Class a boilers: boilers with rated working pressure (table pressure down to the same) p≥3. 8mpa, including:

Supercritical boilers: p≥27. 0 mpa or boilers with a rated export temperature of 590°c
