A brand-new 6,000 notebook with a second-hand cut-off of 2,000; a large memory marked i7+16g, with a host price of 699. Watching the price is full, it feels like it's missing。
But i have 10 friends who have stepped on a mine: someone buys back the re-assembly system, with a high pair of seconds turned into an antique machine 10 years ago; someone burns the main board for half a month, and the cost of repair is more expensive than the cost of buying the machine; and someone picks up the mine several dozen times a year。
The low-cost second-hand computers on the market, which are far below the market level, are not commercial jean-leon, are three-storey well-packaged cats, hidden deep in their appearances, systems and hardware, and ordinary people can't even see through the machine for a few minutes。
First, the appearance of "99 new" is made-up, and the inside is covered with dark diseases
A lot of people picked a second hand and looked at it the first time. With no scratches, no oily keyboards, and bright screens, it is accepted that individuals use their own machines to relax their vigilance. Of course, the second-hand market has a complete “refurbishment line” that can disguise scrap machines as quasi-new at hundreds of dollars。
Let's start with the shell renovation. The old notebooks were painted, bumped and watered, the shop was covered with special paint pens, uv sprayed, the fingernails were scratched on the side, the original plant was hard and unscathed, and the spray paint was scraped with white. This is the most widespread and hidden niche of the second-hand market and the source of 90 per cent of the white rollers. The source of some low-cost second-hand computers is unknown, the main account number of the original machine is lost, the locks are locked and the original owner will be able to lock up the bricks remotely at any time; the bulk of the machine is phased out by the enterprise, a large amount of data is stored on the in-house hard drive, the vendor is simply formatted and the risk of privacy disclosure is extremely high。
The most striking point: low-price second-hand trading, with little after-sales security. Individual sellers go to the platform and the transfer is closed, and the offline shop sells retrofitters, verbal pledges of quality assurance, follow-up machines go to the door to defend their rights, and they don't recognize them. The type of machine with a formal second-hand store report, short-term quality assurance, will never be so low that the price corresponds to a one-time sale and the machine will not be sold。
Depreciation of hardware itself is a normal phenomenon, but reasonable devaluation and pitting low prices are completely different. A computer that is unpaved, with original fittings and normal household use, still has a residual value of 40 per cent for three years, while those that are below half the price are cheap, hundreds of dollars, late maintenance costs, loss of data, at least a thousand losses, which are not paid。
To be honest, it's all right to try to save money on second-hand computers, but don't get caught up in the “sucking in the big leak”. All second-hand computers, far below the market average, must have the corresponding costs: renovations, false parameters, heavy-exploited sources of bomb cargo, three layers of obscenity around each other, especially ordinary people who do not understand hardware and are greedy and cheap。
Computers are depleting digital products, and they devalue at a fast rate, and the second-hand suit at a reasonable price is really a good thing; but after a very low price, they only pay for the merchant's set-up, spend money, use computers for less than a long time。
It is recommended that, when you do so, priority be given to machines with complete machine reports, re-loadable systems on site, clearly informing you of maintenance history, and abandon unrealistic low-cost illusions in order to actually buy spectral equipment。
