Don't go blind: teach you how to build a knowledge system that really enhances awareness

Did you get caught up in the eccentricity of learning

Dozens of trade articles are kept on a daily basis, with dry cargo links in the collections, a collection of fees for studies and unopened books on the bookshelves。

It's been over a year, asking what you've learned。

There are problems in working life or in empirical speculation, and others have no idea what to say。

It's not that you're not working hard, it's that you don't have your own knowledge system。

All you amass is fragmentation information, not knowledge to solve problems。

A true knowledge system is not a warehouse filled with information, but a knowledge network that is interconnected, ready to call and direct action。

The logic of building a knowledge system is simple

Today i've shared five years of knowledge-building methods that i hope will help you。

I. Bones first: don't let the knowledge turn into dust

A lot of people build up knowledge systems, and then they're saving things, whether they're useful or not, and they're getting more and more confused, and they don't even know what they have, and they can't find anything。

The correct order in which knowledge systems are built is always: build a shelf, then fill in the content。

I divided knowledge into four circles, covering all the cognitive needs of internet people from within:

1. Bottom meta-capacity (root) logic thinking, critical thinking, efficient reading, writing expression, time management, self-awareness。

It's the basis on which you learn everything. Use these. You can do it twice as well。

For example, when looking at an industry report, the logical person can see through the substance at once, and the poor person can only see the surface figures。

This floor is a priority, and it determines the ceiling you study。

2. General general knowledge (global perspective) history, basic economics, sociology, communication, philosophy, legal commons。

A lot of internet people just know their technology, jump out of it, and they're stomping。

The knowledge system is missing if you cannot read industry trends or business logic。

The most typical example is the lack of understanding of economics in the production of products and of the willingness of users to pay; the lack of communication in the operation and the absence of fissionable content。

3. The entire body of knowledge of your work at the main level of professional life: industry rules, core technologies, business processes, methodology, upstream/downstream, forward trends, etc。

Philosophy + science + common sense

That's what you can eat. It's the highest output。

4. Art, literature, finance, sports, etc., in the sphere of outreach (complementary perspective), which can be supplemented on the basis of your personal needs and need not be demanded。

One minute to land

Open flybooks and create a new page called the personal knowledge bank, and just press four plates to build the skeleton of the knowledge system。

For example, my professional level is "internet operation," which is then broken down into "content creation" and "flow logic" and "user growth" data analysis。

After learning anything about internet operations, fill it directly with the corresponding plate。

Ii. Screening input: cut off 80% of invalid information

In the face of the vast amount of information available on the internet, we now have the greatest lack of information and the least capacity to filter it。

Most of the short videos, information, emotional articles you write every day not only do not raise your awareness, enrich your knowledge, but also make your brain more and more retarded。

If you don't believe me, you can stop the internet for a week and see the depth and speed of your thinking。

My own information enters three iron bars:

I divided the channels of information into three priority levels, assigning time in order of priority:

First-level core input (main weekly, 70 per cent of the time): classic books, authoritative teaching materials, original dissertations of the trade, technological blogs of large factories, public classes in famous schools. These are the most systematic and accurate sources of information, none of which are available. Systematic knowledge is the cornerstone of a knowledge system。

Second level of supplementary input (minus 20 per cent per day): head column of the industry, in-depth long paper, professional periodicals, in-depth interview of the boss. It is used to follow up on recent developments and to provide additional information in a timely manner。

Level 3 leisure input (strict control, 10% time): high quality documentaries, industry podcasts. Just relax and don't expect to learn from it. There is basically little nutrition for everything that is used to get the flow。

Two hard rules

Personal recommendations: regular clearance of attention lists and clearance of accounts that only pursue hot spots and cause anxiety。

It's better to save time to read a good book than anything。

Iii. Internalization: transforming others ' knowledge into their own

Reading books without thinking is nothing。

A lot of people take notes from books, they copy a large book, they put it together and they can't remember anything。

The true internalization is the dismantling and reorganization of foreign knowledge and its integration into your own knowledge system。

This is a standard set of processes that i use. Any knowledge applies:

Get a little knowledge, ask four questions

Philosophy + science + common sense

What are the core conclusions? What are the arguments and rationales behind it? What is the applicable border? What knowledge do i already know

And remembering these four questions, it turns you from a "passive receiver" to a "active thinking" filter。

Three notes. Different content

1. The card note method (most recommended) can be used for the collection of knowledge on the fragmentation knowledge point。

The heart of the card notes is: one knowledge card, one core view. Mark sources, associated old knowledge, your own case。

For example, when i learned "survivor deviation," i made a card linking "the common error zone in data analysis" to the pits that had been stepped on before the growth。

The cards are constantly connected, over a long period of time, they automatically form a network, and all relevant knowledge can be instantaneously accessed in the event of problems。

2. A mind map (appropriate for structured content) that, when reading a thick book or learning system curriculum, is used to combo the overall framework of the author's logic, and then we have to break important knowledge points into cards and fill them in our catalogue of knowledge。

Mind maps are the best way to decipher knowledge of the system。

3. The felman note (to combat hard nuclear knowledge), the best way to internalize knowledge is to export。

Export their understandings and perspectives in a way that assumes that they are not fully understood。

At the heart of feynman's learning is the restatement of knowledge in the simplest white words, where you don't eat。

For example, you learn the big model, you tell your colleagues who run the business, you go back to learning。

Most critical step: cross-cutting connectivity

Every time you learn something new, you ask yourself:

Iv. Output closed ring: empirical proof of your perception

The input is absorption, the output is really mastery。

A lot of people say, "i get it," but when it comes to using it, it's because there's no output。

The output of knowledge is divided into four tiers, with increasing difficulty:

Low threshold output: daily records. It takes 10 minutes a day to write 300 words, combing things that were learned that day or thinking about one thing, not to write much better. Medium threshold output: transpose sharing. Talk to friends, write a public article, or do an internal sharing. To be clear, the logic is perfectly clear. High threshold output: landing practice. This is a central step for internet people to raise awareness. Learn data analysis, write reports, learn growth, run a fission, learn product thinking, go backsign a bad app. In practice, the pits are more useful than ten books. Final output: creating systematic content. To try to write a handbook or a curriculum for time enough. It's going to force you to consolidate all your fragmented knowledge and form your own methodology. V. Periodic iterative: do not make your knowledge system obsolete

The internet industry is a six-month boom, and last year's methodology may have failed this year。

Fixed knowledge systems will only become your shackles。

The collection is the same as learning that what is in the collection is always someone else's. Unprocessed, unoutdated collections are simply information garbage and regularly clean up unread collections. It's only professional, it's not familiar: programmers who write codes, they do content, and it's easy to get into tunnel visions. How far can you go, ultimately depending on the level of knowledge. Seek speed, not depth: 100 books per year, read more than 10 classics and complete output. Depth is always more important than quantity. Exclusion of the opposite view: the essence of awareness-raising is to constantly break down inherent prejudices. Take the initiative to look at what is contrary to your views and build a dialectic. Once the system is complete, once and for all: the knowledge system is always dynamic. Day1:

Open the notebook software and build a blank catalogue of knowledge by "utility-intellectual-professional-interest"

Day2:

App, remove low-quality concerns and filter 3-5 core information sources

Day3:

Picking out a capitalist classic, reading chapter one in feynman

Day4:

Practice card notes, organize 10 core knowledge points and establish linkages

Day5:

Write, 300 word discs, analyze a recent encounter with new knowledge

Day6:

Make a list of next month's studies

Day7:

Optimizing the knowledge catalogue framework and completing the first version of the system form

Finally, i would like to say:

Building knowledge systems is not a matter of instantaneousity and requires a little accumulation every day。

But when you run through the system, you'll find that it takes a month to figure out what's going on, and you'll see what's going on in one day。

That's the power of perception。

It doesn't make you rich overnight, but it keeps you competitive in this fast-changing world。
