The total white population is 1933510 (2010). The main areas are yunnan, guizhou and hunan provinces, with the largest white population in yunnan province, and sichuan province and chongqing city。

There are numerous chinese-language quotations, and the new terminology is directly in chinese, which is one of the languages spoken more frequently by the tibetan-myanmarese. Almost 60 per cent of the vocabulary is spoken in chinese, and most people know chinese。
In tang dynasty, the white language of the squares was written by the chinese. Historically, the whites have written their history in white, created literature, and left behind a certain number of ancient whites, ranging from white scriptures to white varnishes, white history books, white tablets, white rituals, white singers and white symmetry. In 1958, language experts, such as xue lin and zhao yanxian, prepared the white language program (draft) in the form of 26 latin letters. The original programme was revised in 1982 to read “new white”. There are 27 new white sound mothers and 37 rhymns. The revised white language is capable of writing scientifically and accurately the spoken language of millions of white members in the two great dialects of da lisi。
