The group strictly implements a 3d water quality monitoring system consisting of laboratory testing, mobile emergency monitoring and online monitoring, with 787 equipment for the online monitoring of water quality in water plants, 127 network online monitoring points for water quality and 587 manual monitoring points for water quality, with full coverage of water sources, out-of-plant water, end-of-pipe water, etc., to achieve “source-to-top” accurate water quality monitoring。
Enhanced online data monitoring and analytical management of water quality allows timely and accurate forecasting of water quality change trends and effective response. The group will monitor the frequency of the relevant indicators in accordance with changes in the quality of water sources and will direct the water plants to adapt the water production process to ensure that the water produced from the plants meets national standards for drinking water sanitation。

Heat preparation for maintenance of water supply
In order to ensure the stability of the network during peak water supply periods, the beijing waters group uses multi-dimensional testing tools to carry out advance screening of the network for potential damage and equipment wells, proactively identify and deal with safety hazards in a timely manner so as to prevent them; strictly implement grid-rigid inspection, strengthen inspection and supervision of open pipelines and water-in-the-ground construction sites, maintain the network's ancillary equipment facilities and control the risks of running the network。
In addition, the group has strengthened coordination and enhanced emergency response coverage by arranging for 843 emergency duty guards per day during peak water supply periods, 189 recovery vehicles, 770 mechanical equipment units, 58 emergency water tankers and at all times in a state of heat. In the event of an emergency, emergency response mechanisms are put in place first-time and recovery units are on-site, with a view to restoring the network to normal operation at the speedest possible。
