The rationale for the swot analysis
The swot analysis method, also known as the posture analysis method or the disadvantage analysis method, is a method that allows for a more objective and accurate analysis of business realities and is widely used in the field of strategic management of enterprises. Swot analysis is the acronym of the english word strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats。
In the tows matrix (table 1-1), the two-dimensional matrix is constructed on the one hand by the opportunity and threat factors of the external environment and on the other by the advantages and disadvantages of the internal conditions. There are four combinations, namely, the s-o strategy, the w-o strategy, the s-t strategy, and the w-t strategy, which can be used to help people make strategic choices。

Two steps in the swot analysis
As a first step, managers carefully assess the internal strengths and weaknesses of enterprises and the opportunities and threats of the external environment。
Step two, managers use the results of the first assessment to place the enterprise in the four-dimensional limit of the swot matrix (figure 1-1)。

Figure 1-1
Figure 1-1
As shown in figure 1-1, if the enterprise has many internal advantages and few internal disadvantages, and many environmental opportunities have few environmental threats, the enterprise will be placed on the right front of the swot matrix。
A detailed comparison between themselves and their competitors must be made from every link of the value chain in the context of the analysis of advantages and disadvantages. The first part is sw, which is used primarily to analyse internal conditions; the second part is ot, which is used mainly to analyse external conditions。
Simple rules for applying swot analysis:
1. Swot analysis must be conducted with objective knowledge of its strengths and weaknesses。
2. The swot analysis must be conducted in such a way as to distinguish between its status and prospects。
3 the swot analysis must be comprehensive。
4. Swot analyses must be compared with competitors, for example, better or worse than your competitors。
5. Keep the swot analysis simple and avoid complications and over-analysis。
6. Swot analysis methods vary from person to person。
Advantages and disadvantages of swot analysis
Strengths:
The swot analysis is illustrative and each quadrant is linked to a variety of strategies. For example, if the business manager determines that the company has considerable internal advantages and external opportunities, swot suggests that the enterprise can “growth” through mergers, acquisitions and the development of new internal business opportunities. On the other hand, if an enterprise has internal disadvantages but external opportunities, swot recommends that the enterprise “overcomes the disadvantage” through joint ventures, vertical integration or unconnected diversification。
Disadvantage:
One of the disadvantages of the swot analysis is its subjectivity, its judgement of internal advantages and disadvantages of the enterprise, or of external opportunities and threats, as opposed to optimistic managers and pessimists。
Another disadvantage is that its analysis makes it difficult to produce clear recommendations. Indeed, in real-life analysis, many firms find themselves in the center of the matrix, where internal advantages and disadvantages are not evident, and where external opportunities and threats are equally present, there is a lack of clarity about the firm's analytical positioning, and where the enterprise is at a two-dimensional intersection, there may be considerable contradictions in decision-making by different decision makers。
Create an optimized swot analysis matrix for the website
Having understood the point of the swot analysis, i think that what is next important is the project to be analysed, the theoretical guidance of practice, and the conclusion of practice. I think there are two main aspects to the analysis of seo optimization:
1. Current status of website: domain name, space, intake, ranking, traffic, etc
Web site optimization: site location, user needs, keyword layout, content quality, page quality, etc
Case: swot analysis matrix for the keyword “seo academy”

Advancing strengths, overcoming vulnerabilities, taking advantage of opportunities and addressing threats; considering the past, building on the present and looking to the future。
The strategic plan should be an organic combination of its own “capable” (i. E., its own strengths and weaknesses) and “possible” (i. E., environmental opportunities and threats)。

If you've started the seo, then you don't know how to do it, so start with the swot analysis。
