In addition to contemporary books, papers published in specialized academic journals are becoming another basic vehicle for knowledge production and accumulation. On the basis of a book review, the new kyoto weekly review seeks to expand the entirely new dissemination of knowledge on the subject of “academic reviews and digests”, preparing the “new kyoto chinese academic abstracts service” and working with the periodical community, as well as digests such as the “hongjing people's paper” and the “china social science digest”。

Every week, the new kyoto newspaper b folds a weekly book review newspaper to select two papers and reproduce the full text in the new media. Our work process is based on the selection of research topics and the quality of the text, leading to a preliminary selection, which is reviewed by experts in the relevant disciplines, and two are selected during the week.
