This work was written during the song's period, when song was a major player, the commodity economy was booming, the community was growing up, the city was built up as the capital, with a population of more than a million people, the city's wells was rich in diversity, and zhang zhang was able to write about it in a large volume, leaving behind the most intuitive vision of the song's urban life for future generations。
On the map, the work is based on a scatter-point perspective, followed by a thread of the river, linking the scenes in and around the suburbs, the banks of the river, and the gates of the city into an integrated whole, with a constantly shifting perspective, breaking the spatial limits of focus. The picture, which began with a pen from the quiet village on the outskirts of the country, gradually transitioned to a busy market on both sides of the river, and then moved to the gates of the city, where the scenes were perfectly integrated with the small details, displaying both the city's grand etiquette and the subtleties of urban well life。
