The search engine provides backup to the web page when entering the page and maintains its own server cache. When the user clicks on the webshot link in the search engine, the search engine displays the content of the web page captured and stored by the spider system at that time, known as the “pageshot”. While the page snapshots should have been synchronized with the time when the search engine recorded the pages, the fact is that the snapshots are not the same as those seen by the station chief's friends。
In response to the problem of the current photo anomaly in the 100-degree search engine, the following three points were summarized: first, slow update of the snapshot time; second, slow update of the snapshot time; and third, regressive. These three issues are often the subject of discussions among seo personnel and are being analysed today。
I. Slow and time-sensitive update
The slowness of the update is a normal phenomenon. However, it can be simply summarized in two cases,1 where the website is not updated;2 where snapshot updates take time。
1. Website not updated
The timing of a snapshot update of a website is inextricably linked to that of the site itself. If the website is not updated, the search engine spider climbs without seeing anything new, naturally turns around and the backup time in the index library is not updated。
Time is required to update snapshots
Once the search engine spider has captured the web page, the time in the index library is updated. And the webshot that users see is the time to show to the interface, and there's been some delay in updating the search engine snapshots, and not all websites will react to the snapshots first after the index library is updated. So it's not timely to update the snapshot, and the delay in updating the search engine is related. But there's also something to do with the cycle of updates that the website itself has built up, and if you keep your website up to date on a daily basis, the search engine's capture update week will be adjusted。
Ii. Snacks do not update
The same is true of the fact that the snapshot is not up to date, in two simple cases: one, the website is not up to date for a long time; and two, the website is inaccessible or shielded。
1. The website has been unsupervised for a long time and has not been updated. Needless to say, the search engine will not take care of you any more. The last update of your website will be kept, thus creating the illusion that the snapshot time will not be updated。
As can be seen from the figure above, although the search for seo is well ranked on the website, the snapshot time has not been updated. Looking at the contents of the page shows that it was published as a fixed list page in 2008 and has not changed so far, which is why the ranking is good, but the snapshot is updated。
2. If the website is inaccessible in the middle of the journey, or if the server is shut down, or if, for other reasons, it leads to an anomaly in spider capture, it leads to an anomaly in snapshot updates。
Sometimes it is observed that the website is being updated or is regularly accessed, but the snapshot time is still a long time away. This is because the time that the search engine is displayed to the user is not necessarily the time of the latest update, but of the choice of a time for recording that it considers appropriate。
In addition to the above, there is one factor that can lead to the non-update of snapshots. It is also due to unusual web access. Please see the chart below:
The above figure is a snapshot of the time and part of the front page of the seo research association network. Since the seo research association network, as a newly developed web site for the seo industry, is of high quality in terms of content and website operations, the collection of articles is fast, but the first page snapshot has been kept up to 10 january 2014。
It was only as a result of the investigation that the seo research association network was unable to access it for several hours because of the malicious attacks it had suffered. It was observed that on the first page of the seo research institute, there was a fixed time frame, which coincided with 10 january 2014. It's exactly the same time as the snapshot. That alone, of course, is not the only reason for us to proceed。
Iii. Returning over time
If the first two scenarios were understandable to all, the third scenario might be very poorly understood. Why? Because some of the websites were built in 2013, the snapshot shows the year 2006. It's a time gap that makes people laugh, even with the urge to scold their brains. The question had been put to 100-degree staff at several of the station chiefs' assemblies, but there had been no positive response, and the answer to that question had been to the second phenomenon. Today, chai chiang is doing a graphic analysis of this phenomenon. First, let's take a look at this set。
The above figure is a personal blog of chai chiang, which is shown here from 2006-5-12, but which was created in 2013. It is therefore very difficult to understand when seeing this snapshot time and wonder where it came from. After some research, this secret was discovered
The website was opened for viewing and it was found that the first page of the executive summary showed an english time, which coincided with 12 may 2006. It was recalled that, in the meantime, the site had one day not been accessible because the server had expired. With these, the problem remains。
It was possible to capture the time in the site's content and display it as a snapshot, in addition to choosing a suitable time for recording for the user。
There may be others who think it's appropriate, so it's further proof that the woodwork was experimented again. Please see the chart below:
A snapshot of the seo research association network mentioned earlier was taken on 10 january 2014. When i change the content of the web page to after 25 july 2014, the 100-degree snapshot begins to be updated. The updated snapshot coincides with the time i changed。
