On the basis of the information provided by the national development and reform commission, “the price of domestic finished oils has been increased by mechanism”, i have been informed, in a draft form, of the following matters relating to the adjustment of the price of gas and diesel fuel:
I. Retails of gas and diesel fuel remain subject to maximum price management, with an upward adjustment of $150 and $145 per ton for gasoline and diesel fuel (standard, lower and lower), respectively, and non-standard prices adjusted accordingly to quality ratios. The maximum retail prices of gas and diesel fuel, as adjusted, are shown in the annex. Retailing enterprises for finished oils may set specific retail prices on their own, without exceeding the maximum retail prices for gas and diesel。
Ii. Adjustments to the maximum wholesale price of gas and diesel. The contract provided for a uniform provincial reduction of $300 per ton for retail enterprises based on the implementation of the maximum retail price and $400 per ton for eligible private wholesale enterprises. When retail prices in the market decline, the supply prices for retail and private wholesalers are reduced accordingly, maintaining the difference of not less than $300 and not less than $400, respectively. If the contract does not provide for distribution, the maximum wholesale price for the retail enterprise is based on 300 yuan, which is determined by agreement between the supply and demand parties on the basis of the actual situation。
The adjusted price for gas and diesel will be implemented from 2400 hours on 19 november 2020。
China petroleum, china petrochemical lake south, is required to ensure a steady supply of oil from the market for finished products by making the connection between the oil products. At the same time, the enterprises to which they belong are urged to strictly implement national price policies。
5. Price authorities at all levels need to strengthen monitoring of the market dynamics and prices of finished oils, develop anomalies, report in a timely manner and cooperate with the authorities in their response。
