Today, 12 november 2025, oil prices rose again, which is the seventh increase this year。
After four months of falling, many drivers were happy to see the price of oil becoming cheaper。
This time, petrol was up by $125 per ton and diesel was up by $120, or almost a cent per litre。
This is not much to hear, but it does not build up much。
If you drive a 50-litre tank, now fill the gas station with a box of 92, it'll cost you five bucks more than before。
Don't underestimate the five bucks, enough to buy a bottle of water and eat early。
In some places, petrol 92, such as liaoning and shenyang, has been re-established at $7. 03, respectively, officially for the “six-dollar era”。
In retrospect, the previous months, from mid-july to the end of october, had seen oil prices fall all the way down, aggregating more than 50 cents per rise, a period that had saved the owners a lot of money and even set prices at a new low of nearly four years。
As a result of this adjustment on the evening of 10 november, there was a sharp brake that turned oil prices around。
This year's adjustment in oil prices was also impressive。
On the night of 1 july, the price was nearly two cents per promotion; half a month later, on the night of 15 july, it was one cent less。
Then, between the end of july and 23 august, oil prices stabilized for almost a month。
Then, on august 26th, it dropped again, and it was almost 15 cents cheaper。
There were two other steady failures in september。
It was not until october that oil prices actually began to be “breeding”, with the first 5 cent drop in no. 13, and by the adjustment of no. 27, the direct drop in diesel fuel per ton of $265 and $255 per ton, which was more than two cents cheaper per litre, was indeed strong。
Why is it so sudden this time
Mostly seasonal。
The demand for heating oil came up in the northern hemisphere as it became cold and into the winter, and this demand force was directly holding up oil prices。
The international crude oil market, of course, is also constantly influencing the price plates of our gas stations。
However, let us not be too anxious, and the good news is that the next round of oil price adjustments may fall again。
The next pricing window was on the night of 24 november, and the average price of international crude oil is currently less than $63 per barrel。
According to preliminary statistics for the first working day, oil prices are expected to fall by more than $20 per ton。
It's only the beginning, but at least it's a good sign, and we can look forward to the prospect that oil prices will return to the decline。

Look at the international situation。
Global stocks of crude oil have been increasing, which in fact cools oil prices。
Several major oil-producing countries are still struggling to produce, and there is no shortage of oil in the market。
In order to seize asian markets, saudi arabia has even taken the initiative to reduce the price of crude oil sold to asia, which has to some extent suppressed the boom in oil prices。
At present, the united states crude oil offer is $60. 05 per barrel and brent crude oil is $63. 90 per barrel, although slightly higher, but the whole is in a relatively manageable range。
Following this increase, oil prices also varied across the country。
For the 92nd, the cheapest is xinjiang, only $6. 74 a litre。
And shaanxi's oil prices are a little confusing. They're up to $8. 83。
Hainan has not been cheap because of its special geographical location, high transport costs and the price of oil。
Like beijing, tianjin and hebei in north china, oil prices of 92 are roughly $6. 93, with little difference。
The prices of shanghai, jiangsu and zhejiang in china also hover between $6. 91 and $6. 92。
While liaoning in the north-east entered the “seven dollar era”, jilin and heilong river are still between 6. 9。
For transportation reasons, the south-west region is generally more expensive, and oil price no. 92 in yunnan has reached $7. 09。
As for petrol 95, the price is naturally higher。
Liaoning and shenyang in the north-east sold petrol 95 to $7. 52。
The prices of guangdong and guangxi in south china are more expensive at $7. 54 and $7. 57, respectively。
In yunnan in the south-west, oil prices also exceeded $7. 60 to $7. 61 a litre。
In contrast, the prices of no. 95 in xinjiang, ningxia and shaanxi in the north-west were relatively cheap, all at $7. 2。
Overall, the average price of petrol 92 for the country is now $6. 93 and that of petrol 95 is $7. 40。
While the price increase was a little discomfort, the long-term trends and trends in international markets suggest that there is little likelihood of a substantial and sustained increase in oil prices。
It is hoped that the next price increase will bring us real benefits, as predicted。
After all, oil prices are one thing to save, and nobody's money comes from the wind。
