In order to guide and encourage poultry enterprises and operators to take an active part in the marketing of poultry, the municipality will provide a one-time subsidy for the wholesale market of live poultry involving the upgrading of poultry freshen market, poultry slaughtering enterprises and live poultry businesses. Of these, subsidies are approved at 30 per cent of the total actual investment of the project, up to a maximum of $3 million, for the upgrading of slaughter hardware by the existing live poultry wholesale market and poultry mass slaughter enterprises for the purpose of participating in the fresh marketing of poultry。
Following the pilot phase of the hardware upgrade of the new market for meat (farming) and live poultry shops outside the market, which was included in the restricted area of our city's live poultry operations this year, the subsidy rate remains at $20,000 per slot, including $0. 90 million for slotting and $11,000 for refrigeration equipment.
