The report shows that the xiamen civics economy has shown strong dynamism and resilience, with high-quality development features that provide solid support for the economic and social development of the city。
The private economy is an important engine of economic growth. According to the data, in 2024, the economy contributed more than 50 per cent of taxes, nearly 60 per cent of GDP, and more than 70 per cent of technological innovations, absorbing nearly 60 per cent of employment and more than 90 per cent of the private sector. The private economy is the main location for innovative entrepreneurship. At present, 90. 5 per cent of the total number of high-technology enterprises in xiamen city are privately owned by high-technology enterprises, the highest number in the province。
Quality business environments are fertile ground for private economic development. The report shows that the city of xiamen has continuously promoted the upgrading of the business environment, innovative combinations of “fiscal policy + financial instruments”, awarded complementary support to smart manufacturing and technological upgrading enterprises, expanded the technology innovation fund to 50 billion yuan, cumulatively provided 927 private enterprises with financial support for r & d innovation, technological adaptation and more than 40 billion yuan to promote the integration of new generations of information technology with manufacturing. Innovation in the “credit + technology + inclusive finance” service model and the establishment of a multi-disciplinary multi-level fund system such as the industrial lending fund, the technology innovation fund and the micro, small and medium enterprise finance plus.
