Since april, the national policy of free vaccines for older persons has been applied in many areas of the country. The state has fully subsidized the cost of vaccinations and vaccinations, without any hidden consumption, and it is imperative that persons over 60 years of age in their homes be given appointments and not miss out on this health benefit。
As age increases, the immune capacity of older persons is reduced, the seasons of change and autumn and winter are highly susceptible to infection by the disease, and it is costly to be hospitalized if diseases such as pneumonia and influenza are triggered. To this end, the state has introduced three types of free vaccines specifically targeted at older groups, with a comprehensive approach to protecting the health of older persons。

The first is the 23-priced pneumococcal sugar vaccine, the core vaccine, which is free of charge and is intended primarily for persons aged 65 and over. In the past, it had cost $2,300 for a single needle, which was now free of charge to meet the age requirement, provided long-term protection, effectively prevented high-prevalence infections in old age, such as pneumonia, bronchitis and meningitis, and significantly reduced the risk of hospitalization for serious diseases. Even in cases of chronic underlying diseases such as hypertension and diabetes, regular inoculation is possible as long as the condition is stable。
The second is the seasonal influenza vaccine, which is open and mostly free to seniors over 60 years of age, especially those with low coverage, special hardship and living alone. Older persons are highly vulnerable to complications such as high fever and lung infections, and vaccination against influenza can be effective in reducing the probability of disease, avoiding the risk of minor illness and saving hospital expenses and support。

Finally, there is herpes vaccine, which is free or highly subsidized in some areas for persons over 70 years of age. Herpes, commonly referred to as “touching the waist dragons”, has been painfully painful after the attacks, and can also leave behind long-term neurological pains, causing great suffering to the elderly, and free vaccination can circumvent the problem at its root。
The vaccination process is simple, so that older persons can register their appointments with their identity cards, social security cards and travel to the nearest community health service centre and the commune health centre. After a simple health assessment, an inoculation can be carried out on the spot without a taboo and at no cost。

It should be noted that there is a limited number of vaccines available, first-in-first-in-first-in-first-in-first-out, and that older persons who are suffering from fever, chronically and acutely ill conditions have to wait for physical recovery before being vaccinated。
This state-owned benefit provides health security for older persons and secures health lines at no cost. It is the greatest benefit for the children to bring the elderly to the inoculation as soon as possible, with fewer sickness and less suffering。
