On 26 june, the china railways general company and the shanghai railways authority were informed by journalists that the preparations for the opening of the nanjing to hangzhou (ninghang) and hangzhou to ningbo (hang yi) highways had been completed and that the opening programme had been formalized and would be officially operational on 1 july。
The ninghang highway is an important component of the “long-term” inter-city passenger transport system of the medium-term and long-term railway network, operating 256 kilometres across the provinces of jiangsu and zhejiang, with a total of 11 railway stations in nanjingnan, gangning, yanxi, yanji, yanjia, wahashan, yiyang, yihing, changhing, lake county, dexiang and hangzhou。
The hangzhou express railway is an important part of china's fast-track rail network, which has a “four-and-four” backbone — the south-east coast of shanghai via hangzhou to shenzhen, operating 155 kilometres. Ning hanggian has set up a direct high-speed passenger route between nanjing and hangzhou, and there is no longer a need to bypass shanghai between nanjing and hangzhou, and travel time is more than half as short as the current three hours. At the same time, together with the operational high-level and high-speed rail transport routes of the “iron triangle”, the ning hanggung iron has been set up. From nanjing county to hanggzhou and the south-eastern coastal cities, travel time has been significantly reduced from hanggzhou to nanjing and beijing, zinan, hoi fat and wuhan cities。
It runs northwards through the high irons of beijing, yongning and hooning, and reaches the cities of shanghai, nanjing and along the border; southwards through the south-eastern coastal cities of tai win, winfung, fok gao, wenzhou, fuzhou and xenmen; and once the deep railways have been completed, the south-east coast railways will be fully connected, and shanghai to shenzhen through high iron。
