Who knows? I'm so happy to buy a bowl of seed back to plant, and it's either a mess, or it doesn't bloom. A lot of the florists, like me, were tricked by the merchants in the garden. I thought i'd grow a nice lotus in a small bowl, and then reality hit me in the face。
Why would this happen? Actually, much of the reason is the choice of varieties. Some bad merchants, in order to make money, have suggested to you varieties that are not suitable for the garden. You think you buy good stuff, and then you plant it, and either they're big, they're not big enough to fill a bowl, or they're very environmentally demanding and they don't meet the conditions at home. It's like letting yao ming live in a baby bed. Can you look good? Obviously not
So how do we choose the right species? Here's the point. Choosing a bowl of lotus is the key! A small bowl of lotus is more suitable for growing in a bowl, just like a little dwarf. They will not grow poorly because of space constraints and will be able to fully absorb nutrients and thrive in limited space. For example, the micro-basket type, which directly encapsulates the gods, has relatively small roots, is less demanding for planting containers, can grow well in the bowls, and is more efficient in flowering。
So, next time you buy a bowl of seed, don't be fooled by the merchants. Be careful with the selection of the species, ask the business roots, and try to select the small ones. So, you're not far from the successful planting of a nice bowl of lotus
