First, the black land in the background of the project is one of the most valuable land resources of the country, known for its great characteristics of soil thickness, high fertility and aerobics, which play an important role in food production and the ecological environment. Over the past few decades, however, black land has faced serious degradation and destruction due to overcultivation, soil erosion and overuse of fertilizer pesticides. In order to protect black land resources and improve the quality of land, black land conservation projects were created. Second, the core objectives of the project are to protect black land resources, increase land use efficiency, improve the land production environment and guarantee the stability of agricultural production. Specifically, the project aims at: slowing the pace of land reclamation and protecting and restoring black land; reducing soil erosion and increasing soil fertility; restoring the ecological functions of the land to improve its integrated efficiency and sustainability; and reducing reliance on chemical fertilizers and pesticides for the development of green agriculture. Iii. In order to achieve the above objectives, the black land project has taken a number of measures, including: land use and planning: the establishment of a sound land use control system and strict protection of black land resources; deep tillage and silt-backing: increasing soil organic content and improving soil structure through deep tillage and silting; crop restructuring: the optimization of agricultural structures and production layouts, the promotion of integrated management models such as crop cycling and the exploitation of septic resources; the conversion of organic fertilizer resources such as animal and poultry excrement: the use of organic fertilizer resources such as poultry excreta, the improvement of soil fertility and the reduction of chemical fertilizer use; and scientific and technological innovation and support: the strengthening of scientific and technological innovations in black land protection, with a focus on the implementation of major core critical technical campaigns to raise the level of black land conservation and utilization. Fourth, the results of the project have been notable through the implementation of the black land project. For example, in 2022, the quality of cropland in the city increased by 0. 08 compared to 2021, the average soil organic content increased by 0. 85 per cent compared to 2021, and the overall effectiveness of protection of black land improved through the application of increased organic fertilizers, crop quality testing and soil formulation fertilization。
