In december 1949, one of the spare parts plants of toyota automobile industries, dnso, was independently separated from toyota group, and at a capital sum of 15 million yen and the size of 1445 employees, a "japan dnso fabrication" was set up and began operation in aichi county, japan. Today, dnso electric assemblies have grown into a multinational car parts supplier group company with 184 affiliates in more than 30 regions around the world, employing 13984 (as of 31 march 2014).
