Now, in the eyes of some, the term “public knowledge” has almost become the term “gay” and “seller”. In the eyes of others, they are a symbol of “conscience” and “independence”. The opposing attitude of the two groups to the public perception has become a topic that has been pervading the web and has even reached the level of incompatibility。
So do we need to know or not? It's actually needed. What is “public knowledge”? The short term is “public intellectuals”. Anything with the word “public” is relevant to our lives, such as “public places”, “public health”, “public transport”, “public toilets”, etc
So, “public intellectuals”, we need it. It is “public” and “intellectual” that it is all the more necessary and worthy of respect. But it's probably bad. Once “public intellectuals” are called “public knowledge”, people seem to forget their “public” attributes and, above all, their “intellectual” superiority。
“intellectual”, a visible identity. Whether it is “public” or not, intellectuals always attract admiration or envy. And they themselves have taken this sense of superiority and despised those who admire them. So they're on stage, someone else's on stage. Although they are “leading the tide”, they are also exposed to the public。
It's a double-edged sword that could have hurt itself. When it's done, they'll be able to respond, and if they don't, they'll be “walls down”. It's really hard to grasp this "square" level, even an "intellectual" level. And their natural sense of “priority” has led them to a natural lack of “terrestrial gas”。
So it's easy for them to "run off." walking, leading and leading, and then getting lost. Because they always felt they were right and could not listen. But who can guarantee that one person, whether intellectual or not, is right? So, they “run off”, and that's what happens all the time。
In fact, everything with the word “public” continues to be so. Since it's “public”, it's as if everyone has a share. But when it's real, i can't find out who's in charge. Public intellectuals have the same problem, as if anyone could say something, but who really cares? I don't think we can find him again。
Thus, it seems that the public intellectuals are being supervised, and indeed not. What would be the role of a “public intellectual” that nobody cares about? Let's just think about what a public toilet without anyone. What we need is a clean and sanitary toilet, not an unattended, sewage-spread toilet。
We are the public intellectuals, and they cannot be separated from them, but on the condition that we do not “run away”, i. E. That we do not go without discipline. They are “public” or “intellectual”, but that does not mean that they can do whatever they want and speak. They must be based on facts, and “basic floors of universal value” are their basic premise。
Others, such as “maintaining individual independence”, “criticism”, “expression”, are based on this. If the “basic bottom line” is removed, it is natural that it is easy to “run off” and to move on. For example, if the black is not to be white, if the good is to be bad, if the false is to be true, they may cheat for a while, but they cannot cheat for a lifetime。
At present, the embarrassment of “knowledge” is caused by their own departure from the “basic bottom line”. If they want to lead the tide, they have to go back to the bottom line. Such a “knowledge” would be welcome and as much as possible. We need “public knowledge”, not the “run out”, but the “clean and healthy” public intellectual。
