In recent days, the rural department of the region organized a technical team to conduct a potato fertilizer comparison experiment with the dragon hole village group of the dragon hole village council of nacho town to provide scientific support for the precision and efficiency of the local potato industry。

The experiment selected the local master-driven potato 9 species, which, thanks to their high-yielding and disease-resistant characteristics, are one of the most suitable varieties for local farmers, in terms of climate and soil environment. The experiment set up three fertilizer groups of potassium nitrogen phosphorus, compound fertilizer and farm fertilizer, and screened the most suitable local fertilization programmes by comparing different fertilizer types and the effects of matching on potato growth patterns, final yields and the quality of chips. The test field, with a total area of 792 square metres, is finely divided into 24 independent test parties, each of which strictly harmonizes basic conditions such as planting density, irrigation frequency, etc., to minimize the disturbance of variables and to guarantee the accuracy and reference value of the test data。

At the test site, the technicians plan the field layouts in a strict manner to measure the application of various kinds of fertilizer with precision, while at the same time lecturing the farmers involved in the experiment about the test process, observations and attention to ensure that the test chain is being standardized. Following this, the technical team will follow up on key fertility stages such as seedlings, flowering and potatoes, regularly recording growth indicators such as high stock, thick hair and number of leaves, and will conduct yield measurements, sizes of chips and starch content tests after harvesting, with a comprehensive analysis of the effects of different fertilizer applications。
The head of the integrated farming services centre of the regional agricultural and rural directorate stated that the fertilizer test was an important step forward in agricultural science and technology, and that the fertilization programme, developed through scientific experiments, would be effective in increasing the productivity of potatoes and helping farmers to increase their yields. As a next step, the bureau will follow up on the pilot process in a timely manner, taking stock of its results and extending them to the region as a whole, in order to translate agricultural science and technology into real productivity that will contribute to the expansion and standardized development of the potato industry。
