On 25 february, the general trade union of the gincheon city of the ningxia autonomous region “100 training sessions” in 2025 went to grass-roots events and opened a three-day training course in grape cultivation techniques at the yuen gining (ningxia) agricultural cooperative in the village of mulan in banning. More than 60 industrial workers from eight professional groups of the cooperative are actively involved。
The training brought together experts from the ningxia grape cultivation, who, taking into account the realities of the climate, soil and so on, gave in-depth presentations on the selection of grape varieties, planting techniques, pest and disease control, water fertilizer management, orthopaedics, etc. The participants listened with great attention, recorded the highlights from time to time, asked questions on their own initiative, interacted actively with the lecturers and had a very active learning atmosphere. The student wang is excited to say: “we used to grow with experience, and it took this training to learn of so many scientific ways and techniques. The training offered by the trade unions is timely, and the expert's detailed and practical presentation has helped us to resolve many of the confusion in the planting process.”
According to the head of the cooperative, which specializes in farming in the country, ningxia: “as a result of the strong support of the municipal general union, grape growers are invited to their towns to teach new techniques of grape cultivation to members of professional agricultural cooperatives and neighbouring farmers and to help growers acquire practical skills through hands-on demonstration. This training has effectively contributed to the development of the grape industry towards standardization and scale, opening new avenues for farmers to grow wealth.”
It is known that in 2025, the general trade union of the city of sengchuan will focus on four priority agricultural industries, namely grapes, platinum, dairy and farming, and will vigorously implement a skills-building programme that will provide basic, public-interest and inclusive training services for more than 3,500 workers in the rural sector。
