Did you get a call for a bank loan? Sometimes the other party can even say your last name, your job, your family. Are these really the calls from the bank credit centre? What kind of "cataic morbidity" is behind the phone? How did the personal information leak? RecentlyMarket regulationSpecial enforcement operations were carried out against loan intermediaries, and the black and grey industry chain behind the loan telephones surfaced。

“my side is the shanghai bank credit centre, and we have a mortgage-free loan product.” people are familiar with such calls: “the other side will know your last name, your cell phone number, and other information.” “don't know where to get my contact.” “you search for anything online, someone will call you right away.”

Are these calls from the bank? Who's behind the phone? On the basis of the leads, the law enforcement directorate of the shanghai market supervisory authority targeted a loan intermediary company. On the morning of 20 july, law enforcement officers carried out a raid on the company, located in a commercial building, where it was found that every operator had a secret cell phone number on his computer and detailed tracking information. The operator's cell phone tweets have a variety of “business interfaces”. On the other hand, law enforcement officials found a form in the computer of the company's head containing detailed customer information after the “first screening”。

The law enforcement investigation found that businesses were able to send out 220,000 messages a day via a text called “i am the agricultural credit centre”. The person in charge introduced the 400,000 messages, which would cost more than 8,000, and the main one would be a wide distribution network. The head of the loan company told the journalist that “it is not known how successful it will be”

In addition to group texting, the company began trying to sell the ai voice calls in april this year, without hiring a live operator, but with the ability to change the regularity of client and client conversations with major banks. In the transaction log, a request to change the word “how” was brought to the attention of law enforcement officials. On the basis of new leads, law enforcement officials have also targeted a company that provides voice customized services to loan intermediaries, and further investigations have revealed that more than half of the 25 businesses in this operation are customers of the internet information technology company。
The network's icst staff said: “the words used by different clients are different. The list of outside calls is usually the client's own, and if he doesn't, we can provide it.”

Not only is it customized for the client, but it also provides a number library for client selection. A large amount of personal information has become a profit-making tool for these enterprises, and in the course of the investigation, law enforcement officials have found a wide variety of sources from which personal information has been stolen. The deputy chief of the 14th division of law enforcement division of the municipal market regulatory authority stated, “there is information concerning the owner of a building that is suspected of having been obtained through developers or within the property company”
It also makes it difficult for consumers to identify the truth when they receive a telephone call from a loan broker, and even enables the other party to give accurate information about its name, address and even workplace. Once a consumer does have a financial need, he or she claims to be a bank credit department that induces clients to lend with low interest rates, free fees, etc。

In particular, for clients who have difficulties in obtaining loans because of letters-of-trust problems, enterprises collect varying fees by packing personal correspondence records, buying bank operators and so on. “we find that these lending intermediaries, in the process of helping their clients to obtain bank loans, are suspected of having committed an offence by paying bribes to the bank's loan approving officers.” chen jing said。
At present, the municipal market board has opened a case against 25 of the entities under investigation, and if a suspected criminal is found, they will be handed over to the public security organs in due course. Wang zhenlong, deputy head of the command division of the law enforcement directorate of the municipal market regulatory authority, told the journalist: “the data centre has combed up nearly 1 million personal information on the various types of cases in question and has a 910,000-minute conversation time. The ongoing illegal collection of personal information.”

Market regulators have warned that if consumers receive such loan calls, text messages, they must be vigilant and not be untrustworthy. In order to enhance consumer protection of personal information, market regulators will also continue their special enforcement activities in such industries as housing intermediaries, house improvements and educational institutions, and will welcome leads from consumers。
