Apple officially launched on monday the latest introductory smartphone iphone 17e and two brand-new ipad air. This is part of the three-day product release plan before the official release of apple on march 4。
The iphone 17e is the latest user-driven machine for apples. The start-up price for 256gb version is $599, $200 less than $799 for iphone 17。
Compared to last year's iphone 16e, the start-up price was the same as $599 but the memory went directly from 128 to 256gb。
But 17e made some trade-offs:
- the screen is 6. 1 inches smaller than 6. 3 inches of iphone 17
- the traditional liu hai/deephole pre-cam camera programme was not used
- the rear is only single, and iphone 17 is double。
But apples also provide 17e with durable upgrades in the same amount as iphone 17, including stronger resistance and better anti-reflective coatings, with less dizziness in the light。
Iphone 17e carries the same a19 chip as iphone 17, but one less at the gpu core with c1x communications chip。
Apple indicated that the aircraft could continue for 26 hours, slightly less than the 30 hours of iphone 17, and that the new charger could be charged to 50 per cent in 30 minutes。
The iphone 17 series showed strong sales of $85. 3 billion in the first quarter, well ahead of the $78. 3 billion anticipated in the market。
Apple, however, says that the company is also facing an industry-wide shortage of memory, which could crush the profit margin in the coming quarters。
In addition to iphone 17e, apples also released a new generation of ipad air, which was upgraded from previous generation m3 to m4。
- 11 inches: $599
- 13 inches: $799。
The new ipad air carries apple n1 and c1x wireless and communication chips at 30 per cent faster than the ipad air version of m3 and 2. 3 times faster than the m1 version。
Memory up to 12gb, an increase of 50%, which is more conducive to running ai-related applications。

Since this year, apple stock prices have fallen by almost 3 per cent。
In contrast, large technology ai shares are weaker: amazon falls by 10 per cent, microsoft falls by 17 per cent, google falls by about 3 per cent, and the market is generally concerned about its overinvestment。
