The prevention and control of occupational diseases is of vital interest to every worker, who must be aware of the hazards at work and in the working environment, comply with the rules of procedure and take care of personal protection。

The classification and catalogue of occupational diseases lists a total of 10 categories of 132 occupational diseases。
The occupational diseases provided for in the act on the prevention and control of occupational diseases must meet four conditions: first, the subject of the disease is a worker in an enterprise, an enterprise or an individual economic organization; secondly, they must have occurred in the course of his or her professional activity; thirdly, they must have been caused by exposure to occupational diseases such as dust, radioactive substances and other toxic and harmful substances; and fourthly, they must have been occupational diseases listed in the classification and catalogue of occupational diseases published by the state。

If a worker suspects that he or she has an occupational disease, he or she can apply for an occupational diagnosis of an occupational disease at the employer's place of residence, place of residence or place of habitual residence。
If the worker is diagnosed with an occupational disease, the employer must submit an application for the determination of an occupational injury to the regional labour insurance administration within 30 days from the date of the accident or from the date of the diagnosis of the occupational disease。

The causes of occupational diseases are clear and can be eliminated or reduced after controlling them. Most occupational diseases are better recovered if they are diagnosed and treated early。
