National radio and televisionBroadcasterModeratorEligibility examinationIt is an important prerequisite for the staff of the national radio and television system to obtain the accreditation of the ombudsman of the people's republic of china and a requirement for the staff of the radio and television operator to apply for professional qualifications。
The national radio and television operator's qualification examination, which is in principle held every year, is based on a unified national curriculum, unified titles, unified organization and unified standards. The time for registration, examination and examination is determined by the general directorate of radio and television and is announced to the public three months before admission. Test scores and eligibility criteria are published in january of the following year。
After taking the examination and obtaining the " qualification certificate for the conductor of radio and television " , and after more than one year of internship or work experience in the radio and television system, it is declared by the unit concerned to the provincial radio and television authorities that it will be authorized to obtain the " qualification of the broadcaster of the people's republic of china " 。
Conditions for registration
(i) compliance with the constitution, laws, regulations and regulations relating to radio and television
(ii) to uphold four fundamental principles and embrace the fundamental doctrine, basic routes and policy of the communist party of china
(iii) have full civilian capacity
(iv) university degree and above (including post-graduate studies)。
Registration time
Modalities, timing and location of registration
Registration process: online registration, online clearance, payment of examination fees。
(i) online registration: the 2026 national radio and television operator's qualification examination has not yet been published, and reference can be made to the 2025 registration period: from 7 july to 18 july 2025, the registered web site is the network of officials of the national radio and television directorate (www. Nrta. Gov. Cn)。
(ii) examine the results of the examination: from 29 july to 18 august 2025, candidates may check the status of their personal information clearances on the national network of radio and television officials (www. Nrta. Gov. Cn). If the status of the examination is “information clearance approved”, please check in a timely manner the district notice of the examination examination for payment within the specified time frame; if the review is “information clearance not approved”, the additional information will be uploaded into the registration system and will not be paid until after the review has been completed。
(iii) payment of examination fees: the form of contribution, the amount of contribution and the time of contribution are to be checked in a timely manner in the district notice for the examination and the contribution is to be made at a specified time as required by the notice. Overdue contributions are considered unsuccessful and cannot be replenished. If the examination is not available for personal reasons, the fees paid shall not be refunded。
Ii. Information on registration
The online register should be uploaded as follows:
1. Scanned copies of his/her valid resident's identity card (both positive and negative, during which the identity card should be valid)
2. University diplomas in academic studies and above (requirement for the posting of an online certificate of studies for current graduates; certification of foreign degrees for those returning from study abroad, issued by the foreign studies centre of the ministry of education; timely certification of academic qualifications for those graduating before 2004 on the internet and the posting of certificates of qualifications)。

Qualification examination for national radio and television operator: 31 october and 1 november 2026。

(i) integrated knowledge
(ii) radio and television basics
(iii) operation of radio and television broadcasts (written tests)
(iv) radio and television broadcasting (oral test)。
The national radio and television operator's qualification examination is the computer test model (written answers are for computers, oral examinations are on-site and live video examinations)。
