I. Functioning of the consumer price index
In july 2021, our municipal consumer price index (cpi) was 101. 2 per cent, an increase of 0. 1 per cent in the ring ratio and 1. 7 per cent in comparison with the same period of the previous year, a decrease of 0. 3 percentage points and an increase of 0. 8 percentage points in the province as a whole。
Ii. Decline in overall price levels, year-on-year increases
By comparison, the consumer price level in our city rose by 0. 1 per cent. Among them are: food, alcohol and tobacco, clothing, 0. 3 per cent increase, housing, 1. 6 per cent decrease, supplies and services, 0. 3 per cent increase, transport and communications, 2. 3 per cent increase, education and culture, 0. 3 per cent increase, health care, 0. 8 per cent decrease in other goods and services. Food fell by 0. 2 per cent in food, tobacco and alcohol, by 7. 1 per cent in fresh vegetables, by 0. 3 per cent in livestock, by 1. 0 per cent in water products, by even eggs and by 5. 1 per cent in fresh fruit。
On the same basis, the consumer price levels of our city population rose by 1. 7 per cent over the same period. These include: an increase of 1. 0 per cent in food, alcohol, 0. 3 per cent in clothing, 0. 9 per cent in housing, 0. 4 per cent in supplies and services, 7. 5 per cent in transport and communications, 3. 2 per cent in education and culture, 0. 7 per cent in health care and 1. 2 per cent in other supplies and services. Food rose by 10. 6 per cent in food, tobacco and alcohol, 2. 1 per cent in fresh vegetables, 23. 4 per cent in livestock, 29. 0 per cent in water products, 28. 7 per cent in eggs and 6. 4 per cent in fresh fruit。
Iii. Monitoring market prices
1 vegetable prices decline and increase year by year。
Overall, the average price of vegetables in our city in july was 2. 99 yuan per pound, which was 3. 86 per cent lower than the previous month's 3. 11 yuan per pound and 11. 57 per cent higher than the previous year's corresponding figure of 2. 68 yuan per pound。
The price of pork is much larger than the price of pork。
Owing to the warming of the weather, the number of outbounds increased, changes in dietary habits of the masses during the season, and the price of pork fell. In july, the average price of pork in our city was $16. 15 per pound, a decrease of 0. 68 per cent compared to the previous month's rate of $16. 26 per pound and 44. 81 per cent compared to the same period of $29. 26 per pound in the previous year。
3 other meat prices have declined and increased over the same period。
The average price of chicken meat was 13. 38 yuan per pound, a decrease of 0. 82 per cent compared to the previous month's previous month's rate of $ 13. 49 per pound, an increase of 6. 02 per cent compared to the previous year's previous period of $ 12. 62 per pound; the average price of eggs was 5. 38 per pound, a decrease of 0. 92 per cent compared with the previous month's average price of $5. 43 per pound, an increase of $45. 01 per cent compared with the previous year's previous period of $ 3. 71 per cent; the average price of beef meat was 37. 45 per cent, a decrease of 1. 96 per cent compared with the previous month's previous month's rate of $ 37. 1 yuan per pound, an increase of $ 37. 05 per pound, a decrease of $ 1. 28 per cent compared with the previous month's previous period of $ 37. 53 per pound, an increase of $ 2. 66 per cent compared with the previous year's previous year's rate of $ 36. 09 per cent; and the average price of live fish was $ 14. 75 per pound, a decrease of $0. 87 per pound, a decrease of 0. 94 per cent compared to the previous month's。

The decline was marked by an average price of 3. 04 yuan/500 g for bananas, which was 4. 7 per cent lower than the previous month's rate of 3. 19 yuan/circle and 4. 47 per cent higher than the previous year's average price of 2. 91 yuan; and by an average price of 1. 5 yuan/cranches for watermelon, which was 23. 47 per cent lower than the previous month's average price of 1. 96 yuan/chip and 76. 47 per cent higher than the previous year's rate of 0. 85 yuan。
5. Prices of finished oils increased from year to year。
The price of finished oil was adjusted twice this month, and the price of finished oil rose. As at 27 july, the sale price of 92 # petrol was 7. 05 /l, 95 # petrol was 7. 52 /l, 0 # diesel was 6. 61 /l, and the sales price of -10 /l were 7. 01 /l, 2. 2 % higher than the previous month's gas ring and 2. 4 % higher than the diesel ring; 25. 6 % higher than the same period of the previous year and 26. 8 % higher than the diesel fuel。
6. Agricultural production data round, year-on-year increase。
Among the species monitored for the increase were: ammonium carbonate price of 1. 13 yuan/kg, an increase of 2. 73 per cent over the previous month's ring ratio of 1. 1 yuan/kg and an increase of 14. 14 per cent over the previous year's period of 0. 99 yuan/kg; urea price of 2. 77 yuan/kg, an increase of 3. 75 per cent over the previous month's ring rate of 2. 67 yuan/kg and an increase of 62. 94 per cent over the previous year's period of 1. 7 yuan/kg; ammonium phosphate price of 3. 51 yuan/kg, an increase of 3. 24 per cent over the previous month's ring of 3. 4 yuan/kg and a rise of 30 per cent over the same period of the previous year of 2. 7 yuan/kg; polybacterium price of 5. 2 yuan/100 g, an increase of 0. 19 per cent over the previous month's previous period of 5. 19 yuan/100 g ring and a rise of 10. 64 per cent over the same period of 4. 7 yuan/100 g。
7. Prices of food oil and consumer goods for daily use by the population are generally stable。
