The hebei daily news (reporter khong guangyun) small and medium-sized enterprises are important for employment. In accordance with the deployment of the relevant state departments, the provincial office of industrial affairs and the provincial department of education jointly carried out a 100-day online recruitment campaign for graduates of high schools across the province in 2023, providing accurate and efficient services for graduates of higher education institutions to find employment in small and medium-sized enterprises. Since the campaign, 291 small and medium-sized enterprises have been recruited across the province, covering advertising and media, internet science and technology, trade and manufacturing, energy and raw materials, totalling 3624 people。
The event was devoted to the theme “small and medium-sized enterprise level you” and was divided into two phases. The first phase is in may 2023 and the second phase is from october to the end of november 2023。
In the course of the campaign, information on employers ' recruitment and on graduates seeking employment is published free of charge by the provincial offices of industry and of education on various job start-ups and higher education websites. Local sme authorities are actively involved in organizing sme recruitment activities through online interfaces, school recruitment, entrepreneurial experience and live postings. Local employment departments and higher education institutions cooperate in the “mixed schools” campaign, offering to invite small and medium-sized enterprises for recruitment, and providing timely recruitment information to graduates of higher education institutions。
With a view to further improving the success rate of graduates of higher education and smes, the provincial office of industrial affairs has consolidated its comparative resources by actively organizing special job fairs and creating dialogue platforms for enterprises and job-seekers。
On 5 june, as an effective complement to the province-wide 100-day online recruitment of graduates of higher education institutions, a 100-day “recruitment of 56789 live stations” in hebei province, hosted by the provincial industrial office, was launched. This activity includes, inter alia, the promotion of job placements on live wires, precision services for student employment and enterprise recruitment needs; the organization of practical job-seeking skills and career counselling in higher education institutions; and the promotion of deeper cooperation between enterprises and higher education institutions and the development of off-line school recruitment campaigns。
At the site of the event, six institutions of higher education, including the hebei university of technology and the hebei institute of professional technology for chemical industry and medicine, signed a strategic agreement with 26 high-quality small and medium-sized enterprises for a cooperative match-up of their schools, “100 days for the recruitment of 56789 live posts and visits to enterprises for employment”。
“promote employment as a top priority.” the relevant directors of the hebei institute of professional and technical medicine said that they would use the event “100 days to recruit 56789 live post” as an opportunity to develop school recruitment, improve the system of guidance on employment, organize training courses in employment practices in enterprises and develop more skilled personnel for small and medium-sized enterprises。
Promoting the healthy development of small and medium-sized enterprises is an important way to alleviate employment difficulties for graduates of higher education. To further support the healthy development of smes, the provincial office of industrial and technological affairs will organize a series of specialized services such as the science and technology transfer business line, which will provide smes with a wide range of services such as policy interpretation, awareness training, supply-and-demand matching, diagnostic assessment, demonstration promotion, etc., and contribute to the development of high-quality sme gradients, stimulating the emergence of more science- and technology-based smes, new niche smes and new niche “small giants”。
