    According to monitoring by the ministry of agriculture and rural development, 2 weeks in 2026 (5-11 january 2026), the “break price 200 index for agricultural products” was 129. 00 (100 in 2015), a decrease of 0. 30 points compared to the previous week, or 6. 74 points higher than the previous week; and the “breat basket” product wholesale price index was 131. 63 (100 in 2015), a decrease of 0. 42 points compared to the previous week, or 7. 90 points higher than the previous week。

    1. Small price increases for pork and eggs. The average weekly price in the pork wholesale market was $17. 90 per kilogram, an increase of 1. 4 per cent in ring value for two consecutive weeks, an increase of 21. 0 per cent; the average weekly price in the beef wholesale market was 65. 73 per kilogram, an increase of 10. 9 per cent; the average weekly price in the sheep wholesale market was $63. 12 per kilogram, an increase of 0. 1 per cent, an increase of 6. 9 per cent; and the average weekly price in the white chicken wholesale market was $17. 47 per kilogram, an increase of 0. 4 per cent, an increase of almost the same rate. The average weekly price of the egg wholesale market was $7. 44 per kilogram, an increase of 1. 9 per cent in the ring ratio, which was 26. 0 per cent lower。

    Average vegetable prices continued to decline. The weather conditions have improved since the beginning of the year, the supply of vegetables in facilities in the north has stabilized, the market for vegetables in the main production area of the south has continued to rise, local markets have reflected an adequate supply of vegetables, and prices of some of the larger varieties have fallen. The average weekly price of the 28 vegetables monitored has fallen by 0. 5 per cent per kilogram, a small decline of 5. 9 per cent over four weeks. The price of 15 vegetables fell, 2 were flat and 11 increased, depending on the variety.     3. Prices of various aquatic products have risen slightly. Among other seasonal fruits, the average weekly price increases of orange and citrus were 3. 8 per cent and 7. 8 per cent, respectively。

    1. The price of wheat, maize, soybeans and soybean oil increased slightly. For $189, $175, $390 and $1083, the ring ratio increased by 1. 3 per cent, 1. 1 per cent, 0. 7 per cent and 0. 9 per cent, respectively, and by 4. 0 per cent, 3. 0 per cent, 5. 2 per cent and 17. 6 per cent, respectively。

    Prices of rice, raw sugar, palm oil and cotton fell slightly.
