China media university(communication university of china) it is the national “world-class colleges of excellence”, “project 211”, which focuses on universities, “platform for innovation in engineering-oriented disciplines 985”, “plan 111”, and the national project for the construction of high-level universities of public postgraduate studies, “election to higher education, sponsored by the international alliance for media higher education”。
The school was preceded by a training course for technical staff of the central broadcasting authority, created in 1954.
