Following up on the important directive of secretary-general xi on “strengthening the global governance workforce”, responding to the call to build strong and educated nations to serve the national “one-way” initiative to develop a mastery of policy, an understanding of our national circumstances, a global vision, foreign language skills, an understanding of international rules and a mastery of international negotiations, our school decided to launch a high-level internationalized talent innovation practice project in international organizations and global governance。
The international organization and the high-level internationalized talent development innovative practices project of global governance, under the unified leadership of the china media university party committee, are jointly led by the international exchange and cooperation service, the government and the institute of public affairs. The project aims to make full use of the professional strengths of our academy in the fields of journalism and communications, international relations, public administration and global governance by organizing the development of cutting-edge innovators in international organizations, the development of an international chemical vision and global competencies for teachers and students, the development of a pool of talent in international organizations, and internships and job offers to international organizations。
Recruitment and selection
(i) target audience
The international organizations and global governance “high-level international chemical talent development innovative practices project” is aimed at students and teachers throughout the school, mainly undergraduate students in the second and third grades, master's students in the first and second grades, doctoral students in the first, second and third grades, and young teachers and post-teachers. It is planned to train 30 participants per class。
(ii) conditions for admission
1. To uphold the leadership of the party and to firmly believe in china's distinctive path of socialism, to actively practice the core values of socialism and to possess good intellectual and political qualities and moral qualities
2. A desire and enthusiasm to become an internationalized human being with a degree of learning and research skills

(iii) selection
The registration form for the high-level internationalized talent development innovations project of the china media university is completed by voluntary registration, recommendation of the academy (ministry) and recommendation of the functional departments, and is preliminarily reviewed by the applicant's unit, and determined by international organizations and experts from the high-level internationalized talent development innovations project of global governance。
Iii. Pedagogical arrangements
(i) schooling model
International organizations and the global governance “high-level internationalized talent development innovations and practices project” offer one year of schooling each year, enrolling each year at the end of september, starting in october and finishing the following year at the end of august. All courses are free of charge. Theoretical teaching is arranged at night or on weekends, and internship practical teaching is arranged mainly for weekends, holidays and summer holidays, after which a certificate of completion is awarded after a full degree has been obtained。
(ii) forms of teaching and crediting arrangements
1. Teaching theory
(1) core courses (3 for 32 hours each, with a total of 6 credits, underline, organized by project groups, on weekends or evenings)
The project team organized a team of experts in the field from the institute of government and public affairs on the theme " international civil servants and the management of international public affairs " , " international organizations and global governance " and " chinese diplomatic discourse and governance of international mechanisms " 。
(2) outreach courses (4 for 32 hours each, total of 8 credits, lined by the project team)
An online course on global governance is offered by the international organisations humanities exchange project, a centre for humanist and foreign exchange in the ministry of education, with 26 basic courses, 10 advanced courses and 6 practical courses, including, but not limited to, international dissemination, national regional studies, international relations, innovative practices and leadership. The humanities centre of the ministry of education will present the certificate in global governance of the high-level internationalized human resources development innovative practice project for students who have completed four courses and achieved successful results。
(3) practical training of lectures (8 for 2 hours each with a total of 1 minute, combined on line, organized by the project team)
The international organization and global governance “high-level internationalized talent development and innovative practices project” group invites representatives of chinese missions abroad, foreign missions in china, officials of international organizations and senior practitioners working with international organizations to provide students with training in topics and career planning for international organizations (not less than four per semester), and 1 pair of curriculum vitae revision and interview coaching. In addition, the college regularly conducts at least two simulation exercises, such as the model general assembly and the model press conference。
Internship practice
The first is to recommend participation in internships with international organizations. High-quality students with advanced grades in the selection programme and in the overall achievement rankings, as well as in the selection and mentoring of international organizations' internships at the centre for foreign and international humanities exchanges in the ministry of education's high-level internationalized humanist development and innovative practice project and in international competency training, are placed in international organizations' internships。
The second is an autonomous internship arrangement for the project team. The project team will build a “tri-dimensional” network of high-level internationalized talent in international organizations。
Learning management
The international organizations and global governance “high-level internationalized talent development innovative practices project” creates a learning archive for each participant, documenting his or her performance and achievements at all stages of development, from the courses he or she has learned, the exchange of speeches, the completion of his or her work, the practice of internships with international organizations, and the learning results。
The results are based on three main indicators: attendance at the course (activity); completion of the tasks required by the course; and adoption of the results test. At the end of the period of training, the participants are evaluated, the participants who meet the criteria are evaluated and the relevant materials are included in the study files of the project as reference certificates。
The 15 credits taken by the participants are selected for inclusion in their studies, depending on the circumstances. Undergraduate students, the credits for this project may be recognized as a generalization extension class. Post-graduate students, with additional credits outside their professional development programmes。
V. Methodology and consultation
(i) method of registration. Two approaches are recommended by organizations and individuals. Colleges and school departments make merit-based selection recommendations within their offices and send relevant materials to e-mail by the deadline. Students who meet the requirements for admission may also volunteer and after examination by the project team, the merit-based list is included in the interview. The exact time, place and manner of the examination are notified further。
(ii) submission. Students who have enrolled have submitted a cv for their enrolment form for the high-level internationalized talent development and innovations project at the china media university (annex 1). A uniform package is compressed and named after “name + college + school number” and sent to the specified mailbox before the deadline and is deemed to have been relinquished. (annex clicks at end)
