The leader suddenly asked you to write an eventPress releaseYou're a half-hour on a blank file? It is not clear from where it is written that it is either dry or less focused, and that it is not available for half a day。

Don't be afraid! The press release is not a literary creation, but a regular program of “filling blanks”, the core of which is “clear, accurate, concise” and mastering the next almighty formula, even if you're new, you can set up the framework in 10 minutes, write quickly and look professional

There are two central purposes of the business association press release: recording facts and transmitting values. It does not need to be vindicated, but it needs to be structured and focused。

    General information

    I. General formula: beginning + middle + end

This “five-four-three” formula can be used whether it is live news, policy reading news, or industry news exchange。

Part i: title and introduction (5 element insinuation)

Title formula: main title: activity name + core highlight. Subtitles (optional): point of meaning/characterization。

Example: i will successfully hold the summit forum on “digital enabling manufacturing” (principal title) - for the first time a cross-border round table was used to trigger ideological sedition (subtitle)

Introduction (first paragraph): 5 ws must be included and the full text summarized in a paragraph。

    Who (who): my association。

    2. What (what): xx events/conferences/contracting ceremonies were held。

    When (when): x x。

    4. Where (where): at xx (or online)。

Why (why/results): aimed at/achieved at xx effects (e. G. “digration of aided enterprises”)。

Example: “to help member companies embrace the digital wave, our association successfully organized the `digital enabling manufacturing' summit at hotel xx on x-x. The forum brought together nearly 100 business representatives and received a live response from industry leaders and senior experts.”

Note: the generic expression “multiple practitioners” “representatives of relevant areas” is sufficient without the specific names of the participating enterprises and of the leaders。

Part ii: main content (4 paragraphs filled)

This part is at the heart of the press release and is arranged in descending order of importance and filled in like a penthouse。

    Paragraph 1: core content and high-light moments。

One or two of the most important things at the event: a summary of the core views of the key leadership messages, the results of the heavy press releases, and a description of the key ceremonies (e. G. Signing up, unveiling). Directly quotes the most significant one-to-two sentences。

For example, “the event created a special interactive session, which provided practitioners with an opportunity for a precise interface”, “the experts in the xx field were invited to share, providing new ideas for industry development”

    Paragraph ii: guests and perspectives。

Presentation of the main guest (title + name). The fine points of view of other speakers or round-table discussions were extracted, and the depth of the activity was shown by a string of phrases “in the view that ...” 。

Paragraph iii: live and interactive highlights。

This is an example of a “high level of interaction”. Mention could be made of the size of the participants, the representative enterprise. If there is an interesting interactive session (e. G. Question and answer sessions, prizes), it can be a piece of paper that adds a lively dimension。

For example, “the site of the event, where participants discuss hot spots in the xx industry and share their practical experiences”

Paragraph iv: meaning of the event and future prospects。

A summary of the activities was provided. Emphasis was placed on the value of the event for the industry and for its members (e. G. “the platform for communication” “directed the way”). Finally, we could add the words “i will remain committed to the future to be held” as a vision of continuity。

For example, “through this event, communication within the industry has been further strengthened, laying the foundations for high-quality industry development”。

Part three: end and packaging (3 elements to be collected)

The criteria end: once again identify the sponsors and conclude with words such as “the event is successfully concluded in a warm atmosphere”. For example, the event was unanimously recognized by participants and had a good communication effect. In the future, such industry exchanges will be organized on an ongoing basis to create more quality communication platforms for practitioners。

Listing of information: at the end of the text, a separate paragraph, in the form of “attached:” or “[]”, clearly lists the sponsors, co-sponsors and support units, if any。

Visual tip: mark "(page 1: addresses by guest)" in the script (page 2: signing ceremony) to facilitate later editing。

Two, 10 minutes of operation process

    1. Minute 1-2: title and introduction (5w) based on formulae。

    2. 3-7 minutes: the key messages in the activity agenda, guest speeches and live notes are inserted into the four main paragraphs as empty。

    3. Minute 8-9: write the standard end and list the relevant information。

    4. Minute 10: read it quickly, checking for errors in time, location, name, title。

Iii. Practising skills: three small details to make press releases more professional

Avoid a generic expression: replace a vague term with “specific actions + generic results”. For example, instead of “organizing exchange activities”, the term “building an industry exchange platform to facilitate the sharing of experiences among practitioners” is used

Simplicity of language: elimination of redundant qualifiers such as “very, very, very” and the need for objective accuracy in press releases

    3. Sub-paragraph clarity: each paragraph speaks of only one core content and does not pile large text to facilitate quick reading by readers。

Iv. The list of pits must be read by the newcomers

    1. No specific leadership name, function: avoid problems arising from inappropriate presentation

    2. No reference to specific business names, logo: protection of business privacy and avoidance of suspected advertising

    3. Do not quote undisclosed policy details: write only publicly accessible policy content and avoid misleading readers

Not to exaggerate the effectiveness of the activity: an objective formulation is sufficient, rather than an absolute formulation such as “the achievement of an epochal meaning” “the definitive solution to the difficulties of the industry”。

Under this formula, when these pits are avoided, the newcomers can quickly write a qualified business association press release. If you need a specific template, leave a message in the comment area, a press release template, which i personally sent to you。
