I. Conditions for admission
In the undergraduate catalogue of general higher education institutions (2025), under the heading “artistics”, as well as in the undergraduate and specialized specialties of vocational education (2021) “art design” “acting arts” and “radio-visual” (radio-visual) professions, respectively, are referred to collectively as arts. For candidates who meet the 2026 requirements for admission to general higher education institutions in hebei province and are to be submitted for examination for a specialty in the arts, the “category of examination” for the higher education examinations shall be chosen for the “art”, and the registration shall be carried out in accordance with the registration documents for the general higher education institutions in 2026 in our province. Candidates who do not apply for advanced examinations on the basis of “art” cannot take a professional examination for the current year in the art category, nor are they admitted to the relevant art category for the performance of the artistic profession. Ii. Admission programmes
In hebei province, the programmes for admission to the specialty of art in general higher education institutions generally do not distinguish between physical and historical subjects. Professional examinations
Professional examinations in the arts category include provincial general examinations (inter-provincial examinations with dramas) and higher education examinations, which are subject to classification according to the requirements of different artistic specializations. 1. Professional examination in fine arts and design
(1) the general examinations of art and design are divided into a total of 300 points, including three subjects: sketches (100 points), colours (100 points), abbreviation (integrated abilities) (100 points)。

2. Professional examinations for music
(1) the music professions are divided into musical performances and music education, of which the musical performance examinations include instruments and vocals, with a total of 300 points. The examinations for musical performances include four subjects: music (15 points), hearsay (30 points), video (15 points), instrument/sound (240 points).
