Do you always get your screen full when you do short videosHigh examinationDid you see the picture
"the child scored 680 points!" "7000 plus nudity, and finally the dream was clear north!" "590 points, steady 211!"
It's like a "600 plus per capita" party without a six-hundred score, and i can't even say that i'm a senior。
Turning off the phone, and looking at the scores of their children, many parents and candidates suddenly fall into deep gaps and self-doubt:
"why is everyone so high? Can't it be my children?" "is it true that the middle-class students have no place in high school?"
Today, together with an official section of the data published by the provincial education examinations colleges in 2026, we are trying to break this web-wide “high-scoring illusion” and restore the truth to a true high-level test。
I. Statistics: high scores, always the few at the top of the pyramid
According to a one-part statistical table published by the national provincial and municipal school of education examinations in 2026, we can obtain the most objective set of baseline data:
In the current year, the total number of applicants for the national higher examinations stood at 12. 9 million, while only about 40 per cent of the candidates were covered by the total undergraduate intake。
The average admission rate for 985 institutions of higher learning is only 1. 5% and for 211 institutions 5. 2%。
The overall share of candidates with genuine stability to over 550 points who are qualified to run a sprint office is only around 27 per cent。
This means that more than 70 per cent of the candidates, the scores are concentrated in the 400-540s。
And the 600+, 700+ high scores that we've got in short video are just a tiny part of the tip of the pyramid for millions of candidates, who are amplified by algorithms, are concentrated, creating the illusion that everyone is the master。
The reality, however, is that it is those middle-class students who work in silence and have a score between 400 and 520 points that are the real mainstream of the examination teams。
And why do you always have the "high marks of others"
Many wonder: why are we so different from real data
Behind this is a social media “survivor bias”。
The practice of sharing “good news and no worries”: most people only get proud points, and few are willing to make their scores public. You see, it's just a small number of people who want to speak。
Algorithmic traffic preferences: high-scoring, name-column theme and dissemination, and platform algorithms naturally push such content to more people and make you think that “high-score walking”。
Enrichment of anxiety: in order to create anxiety and attract eyeballs, a number of marketing posts deliberately portray the atmosphere of “high-point inner-portrait” and further exacerbate moderate self-denial。
Secondary students are not the “scrambers” in high school
Many middle-aged students and parents panic and feel “no hope”。
But i want to say, "the middle class is never a high-class fellow, but the majority of the thousands of candidates, the most promising group."。
1. You have the broadest choice: the 400-520-cent block covers a large number of high-quality undergraduate institutions, specialties and a number of powerful applied institutions. These schools may not be as famous as 985 or 211, but their professional recognition and industry resources in the job market also provide a solid base for you。
You have the most stable upward path: the advantage of a medium-income person is that you are able to plan your future more rationally than being kidnapped by a “high score” halo. You can choose a highly practical technical type of profession, working deep in the industry; you can choose an emerging profession with development potential to grow with the industry. Instead of squeezing into a school that is not suitable for itself and finding its own track, it can go further。
3. Your efforts are equally worth seeing: not all people have to pass 600+ for success. In the millions of candidates, you've already won a lot of people by holding your mind and finishing this exam. Every effort you make is not wasted. It will be your future。
Iv. Write to all middle-aged students and parents: don't let someone else take the rhythm off
Finally, i want to say something to all middle-aged students and parents:
1. Do not take the light of others and deny your efforts: the high points in the short video are only one in 10 million, not a measure of your value. Your scores deserve your efforts and a better future。
2. More important than scores is the choice of the right direction: the examination is not the end, but the beginning of life. It is more important to choose a school and a profession that is suitable for itself and to chart the way forward than to combine the scores。
3. Please believe that the medium-born future is equally shining: life is not a 100-metre sprint, but a marathon. It's a one-time score, and it doesn't determine your lifetime height. Those who work in general schools and promote their middle-level students do not have to be worse off than their graduates。
The end of the examination is not the end of life, but the beginning。
May all middle-aged students be free from the “high-profile anxiety” and from their own virtues on their own tracks。
After all, most people's lives are ordinary and shiny。
