There are new moves in shanghai disneyland, which has just celebrated its fifth birthday。
On the afternoon of 9 july, the shanghai disney garden ticket adjustment programme was announced in the shanghai disney park resort. Effective 9 january 2022, the shanghai disney resort will adjust the ticket prices at shanghai disneyland under the current four-tier ticket structure, with regular day tickets amounting to 435 yuan (the same) for most of the flat and part of the weekends; the “special conventional day” ticket amounting to 545 yuan, covering part of the weekend and part of the day; and the “peak day” ticket covering most of the summer, some of the official holidays in china and some of the days of holiday holidays and rest, as well as the days immediately preceding and following international festivals, special events in paradise and other vip days; and the “special peak day” ticket amounting to 769 yuan, covering part of the statutory holidays in china, special events in paradise and the summer part。
It has been learned that most of the year-round dates in shanghai disneyland will be priced at two base ticket prices: regular and special. Moreover, the annual card price of the park will not change with the ticket price at the park, i. E. Will remain unchanged for some time after january next year。

Reason for multiple price adjustments
The first financial reporter collated the information and learned from various interviews that shanghai disneyland had already undergone a number of price adjustments, with the opening of the park until 5 june 2018 having a secondary ticket structure of $370 per day and $499 for “peak days” (on holidays, weekends, summer holidays). Since 6 june 2018, the shanghai disney has been restructured from secondary to tertiary fare structures, namely, “photo days”, “photo days” and “photo days”, which have been broken down into “photo days” tickets at $399, “photo days” tickets at $575 for higher “peak days” (including summer holidays, weekends and most holidays) and “photo days” at $665 for two more “phots of holidays” (i. E. Spring and national holidays)。
Subsequently, starting on 6 june 2020, shanghai disneyland introduced a completely new four-tier ticket structure, namely, “conventional day”, “special conventional day”, “peak day” and “special peak day”, which remained unchanged at $399; the “peak day” ticket price is $599; “special peak days” include, inter alia, part of the statutory holidays of ultra-high passenger flows and their associated shifts or holidays, as well as international holidays at a price of $699。
As can be seen from the comparison of the previous rotation price, the ticket for shanghai disneyland's regular day rose from $399 to $435; the ticket for the special conventional day from $499 to $545; the ticket for the “peak day” from $599 to $659; and the ticket for the “special peak day” from $699 to $769, with a general increase of around 10 per cent。
Interviews with leading financial correspondents revealed that irregular price adjustments are one of the ways in which industries continue to cope with price factors such as new product development and rising costs, including tourism. For example, in february and march of this year, japan's global film center and tokyo's disneyland announced price adjustments to cope with the increased cost of new projects. In terms of ticket structure, from the secondary fare at the opening of the shanghai disneyland garden in 2016 to the introduction of the tertiary and fourth class fare structure to better guide the seasonal flow distribution throughout the year. This multi-level pricing strategy has the effect of decentralizing the flow of clients and optimizing the experience, in view of the four-tier structure followed in the new ticket programme。
Based on a summary of public information, the first financial journalist found that the adjustment rate showed the smallest increase in the base fare, with a “conventional day” of $36 and an adjustment of $435. In terms of base fare, the exchange rate at that date is $453 for paris disney, $484 for tokyo disney, 534 for hong kong, china, $675 for california, and $707 for the walter disney world, i. E., after the entry into force of the new ticketing programme in january 2022, shanghai disneyland will continue to be the world's least expensive disneyland。

The theme park is being admired
The first financial journalist has learned that the shanghai international tourist resort, which is open for the fifth anniversary, has received more than 83 million visitors in total, earning more than 40 billion yuan in tourism, taxing about 2. 6 billion yuan and creating 15,000 direct jobs. Over the past five years, the resort has sold a total of 5. 77 million velvet toys, equivalent to one in four shanghai citizens with at least one shanghai disney resort; mitch and minnie's classic ice cream is one of the most popular foods in the park, with a total of about 5 million sold in five years; approximately 2 million corn hot dogs have been sold; more than 10 million rice meals have been supplied, with a total weight equal to 15 boeing 777; more than 4. 4 million hamburgers have been sold, at an altitude equivalent to 688 shanghai central buildings; and over 2. 5 million meals have been served in restaurants。
These sales data also allow more investors to look at the theme park industry。
Skywatch data show that there are 95,000 businesses in the country that are active, viable, moving into and out of thematic parks. In terms of industry distribution, the largest number of enterprises in thematic parks are in the cultural, sports and entertainment sectors (36 per cent), while 23 per cent are in wholesale and retail trade and 21 per cent are in rental and business services. In terms of geographical distribution, guangdong has the largest number of enterprises, reaching almost 13,000; shandong has more than 7,000 enterprises; and jiangsu and zhejiang have more than 6,000 enterprises. In recent years, the annual registration of enterprises associated with thematic parks has increased. In 2020, there were 26,000 new thematic park-related enterprises (all in business status), an increase of 54 per cent over 2019. Based on the business register, as of 8 may, our country had added more than 13,000 thematic park-related businesses this year. In 2020, there were a total of 13 cases of business-related financing in thematic parks in the country, and to date, 12 cases of business-related financing in theme parks in 2021 have occurred, close to the level of last year's year。

The chief knowledge expert, zhao hwang zhuang, believes that the operating secret of the theme park lies in continuous innovation and the provision of new recreational facilities and performances, without which visitors will decline year after year, and that the more successful theme parks, such as disney and global film city, have been investing in the development of new projects, including the home-grown seachang marine park, which is also increasing its night trip projects, so that the cost increases are understandable。
“in the end, it is the supply-demand relationship and the effects of experience that are determined by price changes that regulate the supply-demand relationship over time to achieve better effects. In the case of short supply, consumers are dissatisfied when the number of playgrounds is too high, even when prices are cheap. If it is good, then consumers are willing to pay higher prices. So it's the core competitiveness that business needs to go back to its nature and make good products. You see a part of the success of the theme park, where capital flows to the market, but the cultural content creation, technical support and overall marketing of the subject sites are very professional, especially content creation, and it is very difficult to build an ip that is acceptable to all. So even if the market prospects are good, investors should be careful to invest, after all, the cost of the theme park is not prohibitive.” zhao xianxiang said to the first financial journalist。
