On 23 december, the shanghai disneyland officials network released information indicating that the ticket adjustment programme would begin on 23 june 2023。
Effective 23 june 2023, the shanghai disney resort will adjust the ticket prices at shanghai disneyland under the current four-level ticket structure, with the following definitions and corresponding fares:
The “conventional day” ticket price is rmb 475 and covers most of the flat days and part of the weekend
The price of the “special conventional day” ticket is 599 yuan, covering part of the weekend and part of the day
The price of tickets for “peak days” is rmb 719 and covers most of the summer, some of china's statutory holidays, holidays and rest periods and some of the dates around them, international festival celebrations, park special events and other high-flow passenger days
The price of tickets for “special peak days” is rmb 799 and covers some of china's statutory holidays, holidays and days of special events in paradise and part of the summer。
Children (3 to 11 years of age, including 3 years of age and 11 years of age, or between 1 and 1. 4 metres of age), older persons (60 years of age and older) and disabled tourists (with proof of disability) will continue to receive a discount of approximately 70%. Infants and young children (under 3 years of age or up to 1 metre or less) may still be admitted free of charge. Shanghai disneyland will continue to provide a 30-day rolling price calendar to facilitate the selection of tourists according to their different needs and the early planning of travel。
This is the fourth adjustment of ticket prices in shanghai disneyland since its opening in 2016. An earlier announcement issued by the shanghai disney resort officials network indicated that, as of 9 january 2022, the shanghai disney resort had adjusted the prices of tickets to shanghai disneyland under the current four-tier ticket structure, of which the regular daily ticket was $435, the special conventional ticket was $545, the peak ticket was $659 and the special maximum ticket was $769。
At the beginning of the park in 2016, shanghai disneyland was governed by a two-tier pricing system of $370 for daily tickets and $499 for peak tickets; since june 2018, shanghai disneyland has added holiday peak tickets based on day tickets and peak tickets, with a three-tier pricing system until 2020。
From 6 june 2020 to date, shanghai disneyland has restructured the third class of ticket prices into four levels, which are regular, special, regular, peak and special. The fourth class price, introduced in 2022, increased by $36, $46, $60 and $70 respectively。
On 7 december this year, shanghai disneyland announced that it would resume operations on 8 december。
