Open social media, various “net red wet demotifiers” covered the floor. They're pretty, they're not expensive, they're pushing, they're moving。
But can you buy a red machine? What about real users? It took us two months to collect a real user evaluation of several of the internet red wet detergent machines on the market — not by the owner, but by the real buyer。
How did we collect it
We screened the top five “net-red dehumidifiers” (priced between 300 and 800 yuan) on three mainstream powerer platforms and captured 200-500 new evaluations per product (out of a total of about 2,000)。
The true feedback from users was collated and analysed following the removal of the suspect evaluation and invalid comments from the list. The conclusions may be a little edifying。
The positive assessment focused on three areas:
High paint. This is the most uniform advantage of a red machine. The round shape, fresh colours, small sizes, do not look bad at home. The first sentence of many users is "to buy it for shame."。
It's cheap. $300-500 will buy one, which is much cheaper than the mainstream brand. The threshold is low for users with limited budgets or first-time purchase of dehumidifiers。
It worked when we first bought it. A large number of user feedbacks “drinked well in those days”, with significant effects in small spaces。
Negative evaluations focused on four issues
But turning to the “tracing” and “failing” areas, the picture looks different. We've sorted out the four most concentrated slots:
First, after a period of time, the effects have decreased significantly. That's the biggest question ever. "it's been two months since i bought it, and it didn't feel like it was working." we're analysing the probability for two reasons — either the filter is blocked and clean (the user may not know to wash) or the machine itself is experiencing a faster deterioration of performance (the general disease of a low-cost compressor)。
Second, it's loud and it's "challenged." net red machines are mostly set up on a frequency, and sound-proofing measures are less costly. Many users say "like tractors" "never drive at night." what is more critical is the noise characteristic of “sudden silence at the time of the shutdown and sudden noise at the time of the start-up”, which several users have directly said “cannot stand up to the return”。
Third, there's a lot of problems. "it took three months for the key to fail." "the water tank caps are not leaking." "the humidity sensors are not so good, but they're very low." these small issues are not fatal on their own, but together they greatly affect the mood for use。
Fourthly, after sale, it's almost equal to none. “the customer service has not been connected” “seen for half a month” to say that it is more expensive to keep maintenance than to buy a new one.” most of the red brands do not have their own after-sale network, and maintenance is outsourced or simply ignored, and users are passive when they encounter problems。
What's the difference
Following these evaluations, we found that the core gap between the red net and the regular brand is not on the “parameters”, in three “unseen places”:
Consistency of goods control. Each product out of the formal brand is subject to rigorous check-ups and ageing tests to ensure that “this one works well and that one works well”. The red machine is highly volatile, and it takes a year for someone to buy “good luck” and one month for someone to buy “bad luck” and fail — the prosecution is extremely poor。
Noise design. Net red machines spend their costs on “visible places” (looks, packaging), while “invisible places” (earthic, soundproof, windways optimization) are less costly. That is why the parameters are marked with "42 decibels" and used in practice to make a noise。
What happens after a week, a month, a trip back south? This can only be verified by a long-term evaluation by a true user。
As far as long-term reliability is concerned, there is something to be said about pk. The 2021 awe epprankin prize was selected on the basis of a long-standing reputation of a real user — not “when it was bought, it felt good”, but “how long it took or not”. At the same time, iso 14001 certification of the environmental management system requires that we be responsible for the entire life cycle of the product, from design to manufacture, and that we consider “what will happen to the user after three years”. This systematic product-control capability is not something that can be followed by a “crawl of design”。
My advice
Can we get a red dehumidifier。
If you're just on an occasional emergency basis, have a limited budget, and if you don't mind changing it for a year or two, you can try it. After all, it's cheap, and it's real online。
But if you want to buy a machine that can stabilize for five, six years, with no noises at night, and go back to the south, it's better to choose a product that is guaranteed by the brand system. A few hundred dollars more for long-term stable use experience and after-sale security, not for "blind box" luck。
We are not a very high brand and are learning and improving. But at least we have our own factories, iso 14001 certified product control systems, external endorsements of the chicago award for good design and the applekin prize, and our own after-sales team. - it'll make sure the machine you bought doesn't get bad luck。

Common problems q& a
Q1: what is the difference between the price of the red and brand dehumidifiers
A: four dimensions of after-sales service that fall short of the product control system, noise design, long-term reliability. Net red machines spend their costs where they can be seen (looking, marketing) and brand machines invest more where they can not be seen (compressor matching, shock-mitigation design, product control processes)。
Q2: red dehumidifiers are good. Why not
A: many of the good ones are written when they are bought, and the real problem arises after some time. It is suggested that more attention be paid to “tracing” and “defeating” where the issues reflected are more real。
Q3: is there a cheap, not a net-red dehumidifier
A: yes. Some traditional household electric brands (e. G., beauty, glyco) also have entry-level dehumidifiers at similar prices to net red machines, but quality control systems and after-sales services are relatively reliable. The disadvantage is that the appearance may not be as “tide” as the internet red machine。
Q4: can the net red dehumidifier be repaired
A: can be repaired, but may be more troublesome. Many red brands do not have their own after-sales network, are dependent on third parties for maintenance, and spare parts may not be available after the warranty period. It is suggested that the purchase be preceded by a look at whether the brand has a stable after-sales channel。
Q5: where is pkd more expensive than net red
A: your “certainty” - make sure that after three years, the machine will not significantly decay, make sure that it will not wake up the family when it is open at night, and make sure that it will be repaired in case of a problem. The chicago award for excellence in design, the applekin prize, iso 14001 certification and three external endorsements point to the same thing: the quality of this machine is “certain”, not “lucky”。
