The project leader, li li lichin fellow, briefed the experts on the subject of innovation. She said that the study of the theoretical frontier, focus and hot spots of left-wing ideas since the financial crisis would be planned as a long-term project with an open, progressive, extended and deepening character. Through the project's long-term planning vision, it is planned that the world's left-wing thinking since the 2008 world financial and economic crisis will be systematized in a systematic manner. While expanding the scope and scope of research to capture new changes and features of left-wing thinking, deepening and continuing research on priority issues, exploring patterns of their evolution and drawing forward-looking conclusions. Thirdly, and in the light of the objective state of contemporary left-wing thinking and the development of intellectual theory, there will be a gradual increase in the content of the follow-up study of world left-wing scholars on the road to china。

For example, there is a vague perception of the concept and expression of the left, both abroad and domestically, which needs to be designed in conjunction with the current state of research on the left abroad, both domestically and internationally, with a clear definition of its concept, content, outreach, scope and coverage. This is both an important task for the innovation project and an important task in the field of left-wing research abroad. In addition, the theoretical frontier of left-wing ideas abroad is wide-ranging, and there are many genres, such as radical left, market socialism, democratic socialism, feministism, eco-socialism, neo-communistism, liberal socialism, organic marxism, etc. It is also important to have an overall left-wing study based on the definition of concepts, which is a silo of the various genres, from general patterns to special performance. The kang fai fellow has also carried out specific analysis and guidance on the main components of the design of innovative subjects, ecological socialism, the foreign middle class and the global economy and governance.
