In this sense, online learning can effectively mitigate the impact of this new coronary virus infection epidemic on primary and secondary education, in four main areas。
Launching of a national web cloud class to create an online teaching field for "stopping school"
It is understood that the national primary and secondary school network cloud classroom will be officially opened on 17 february 2020. It is based on the award-winning curriculum of the “one-teacher one-teacher one-teacher” project and draws on other high-quality online curriculum teaching resources for students to organize online learning in schools across the country. During the new coronary virus epidemic, primary and secondary school students in different regions are well placed to learn simultaneously online on the basis of their own versions of teaching materials。
On-demand learning by primary and secondary school students in the national cloud classroom is not only of high quality but also efficient. On the one hand, in terms of the learning process, learning in the national web cloud classroom is not random, fragmented but systematic. On the other hand, in terms of the content of the study, most of the teachers in the national web cloud classroom are well-known, and the courses are almost exclusively excellent. Students in primary and secondary schools are able to learn systematically and online by systematically observing the teaching process of famous teachers。
Opening of a television learning channel to meet the learning needs of students in rural and remote areas
The impact of the epidemic is so great that after the delay in starting school, some students are likely to lag behind in their learning, especially those in rural and remote poor areas that do not have access to the internet or at a slower pace. In view of this, online learning can be made available through the opening of a television learning channel to students at large through regular access to designated television stations, which can effectively address the problem of “access to school” for students in some rural and remote areas。
Currently, several regional authorities have indicated that they will open a television study channel during the epidemic. Jiangxi province indicated that pupils and students throughout the province could be taught on television during the extension period through the free radio network cable television, jiangxi iptv, and chinese mobile internet television, and also specified the time of instruction and the online curriculum. On 1 february, the tahara city education department of shanxi province also arranged for the broadcast of the air classroom for the taiwon classes, where the taiwon city centre for teaching and research organized a high-quality course for the recording of names of teachers, and the teaching of lectures for the entire city's primary and secondary school population through the taiwon educational television and the wide telegraph cloud。
The wide reach of the television study channels is of great relevance to rural and remote poor areas, and is therefore well applied to online education during the epidemic, meeting the basic learning needs of each student. The quality of classroom instruction is fully guaranteed by the fact that most of the instructors on the television channels are named teachers, heads of disciplines, etc。
Implementation of live online teaching to provide fully functional “emergence classes” for students
During the epidemic, the new media provided an important avenue for “school at home” for primary and secondary school students, which gave teachers the possibility to teach live via the internet. On-line live instruction is able to completely simulate traditional classes, where teachers teach through computers or mobile terminals in designated places or at home, and where students are taught via internet devices such as tablet computers, ear wheat and mobile phones. Teaching teachers and all attending students are able to conduct online teaching activities at the same time and conduct in-depth teaching interaction and interactive discussions。
The promotion of online live learning is based on three main reasons. The first is that it can reduce the large-scale gathering of teachers and students and actually achieve “suspension and suspension” during the epidemic. The second is that online live learning, combined with multiple web-based software, can be more efficient in teaching and can effectively respond to individualized learning needs of students. The implementation of live online teaching enables teachers to provide effective teaching, management and personalized guidance to class students, followed by a fully functional “epidemic classroom”。
At present, the major online educational institutions are also conducting live educational activities. For example, the city of taiwon launched a “school at home” action plan to provide online live learning through a pedal-to-read platform to create a secure learning environment. On 25 january, the “operational gang” also launched the “spring gas station scheme”, which provides free live classes for pupils and students who have postponed their schooling, starting on 3 february and continuing until they return from primary and secondary school。
Integration of web-based high-quality learning resources for self-advocacy
The use of internet platforms to provide a broad range of primary and secondary school students with a rich, high-quality and systematic learning resource is an important basis for ensuring that classes are suspended during the pneumonia epidemic。
A number of high-quality learning resources have been created on the internet to respond to the epidemic. The primary school attached to the university of qinghua and the secondary school attached to the people's university of china, among others, also opened up high-quality digital learning resources free of charge to society during the epidemic. The high-quality resources of these networks are systematic, informative and easily accessible, creating good conditions for students to learn at random, autonomous and personalized locations。
It should be noted that there is currently a wide variety of learning resources available on the internet, from which teachers and parents need to choose high-quality learning content that is tailored to their interests. Many of the country's primary and secondary education guidance institutions have successively introduced a number of web-based courses, and learning resources are easily duplicated, with too many choices and waste of students ' time and energy. As a result, the choice of individualized online learning content has become a “emergence lesson” for parents and teachers。
