In order to further raise the standard level of green and standardized cultivation of the pharmaceutical industry throughout the town, and to widen the channels for popular enrichment, on 31 october the town of huangzhou convened a technical promotion and practical training meeting for farmers of the chengzhou drug industry advisory group, chaired by the deputy secretary-general of the town party and chairman of csac, with the participation of the cheng county scientific and technological association, the chengzhou pharmaceutical industry advisory group, village farmers and growers。
At the training session, liu xin, vice-president of the county council for science and technology, gave a brief presentation on the implementation of the technical promotion project of the technological advisory group for the pharmaceutical industry in chengzhou and the organization of training activities for farmers in practical techniques. Zhao shusheng, a member of the advisory group for the pharmaceutical industry in chengzhou, gave lectures on the technical aspects of walnut management and winter flowers; and zhu fookmin, a senior agro-artist at the county agricultural technology centre, conducted training in walnut management techniques and winter flowers。
As a result of this training, the skills of farmers to manage the cultivation of medicinal products have been improved and the determination of farmers to accelerate industrial development and restructuring has been stimulated. The participants expressed the need to further improve the techniques and levels of cultivation, to use their own models, to bring about greater prosperity and to lay the groundwork for the development of a high-quality pharmaceutical industry throughout the town。
As a next step, huangxi town will continue to identify the wishes and needs of farmers in the context of the development advantages of specialty industries in the villages, conduct more training courses for the public on farming of specialty industries, guide farmers in the further optimization of the industrial structure, accelerate the development of specialty agricultural industries, expand the channels of income generation for the population and promote the last kilometre of agricultural technology。
