    With the rapid development of the market for electric cars, there is an urgent need to match the construction of charging facilities and to follow up on standardization. Liu yongdong stated that the construction of electric vehicle charging facilities must meet national and industry standards in order to ensure the orderly development of charging facilities. Therefore, the development of electric vehicle charging facilities requires standard prior and uniform standards。

    In practice, electric vehicle charging facilities involve a wide range of components, including car construction, battery development and applications, the construction of charging facilities and services, and the construction and adaptation of electricity grids. The country also attaches great importance to the standardization of electric vehicle charging facilities, with the national standardization management board leading the organization of a programme of work for the standardization of our charging facilities and the formation of a technical committee for the standardization of electric vehicle charging facilities in the energy sector。

    According to liu yongdong, our next work plan for the standardization of charging facilities includes three aspects。

    First, the development of a standard system of charging and switching facilities。

    Liu yongdong estimates that, after a further period of one to two years, we will initially establish a system of standards for electric vehicle charging facilities that is adapted to the application of electric vehicles and the development of smart grids and that is harmonized with national and industry standards.
