Tyres form the basis of motor vehicles and are one of the worst parts of their working environment. The good and bad performance of tyres has a direct impact on the motority, economy and safety of cars, in which the risk of tyre explosion is the most important uncertainty in vehicle safety. Attention to routine examination and maintenance of tyres is therefore particularly important. The most important thing for the examination and maintenance of tyres is to maintain appropriate air pressure, avoid external damage and maintain a dynamic balance。
1. Maintain appropriate air pressure
It is necessary to check the tire pressure once a month during the use of the car. The car factory will indicate normal foetal values either in the owner's manual or where the vehicle is visible, such as inside the driver's door frame or inside the lid of the gas vent. Some branded vehicles are clearly identified, even the tire pressure that should be adjusted for various conditions, such as single-person driving, carrying a different number of passengers and carrying baggage. As a result, the vehicle was primarily used to conduct periodic examination of the normal foetal pressure based on data provided by the original plant. Studies have shown that an increase or decrease of 20 per cent in tyre air pressure results in a reduction of about 20 per cent in tyre lifetime。
2. Avoiding external damage
Tyres are rubber products. And elastic rubber, most feared in the outer environment, causes ageing. The most common scenario is the rigidity of rubber, the loss of elasticity, which eventually causes torn turtles, and the severe and even severe stripping of rubber from the treads. So, if possible, after each car wash, it would be useful to use some rubber-resilient tyre wax to wipe the entire edge of the tyre, not only to look black and beautiful, but also to have some anti-age effect. There is usually an opportunity to remove small stones that are embedded in tyres. All obstacles on the road should be handled with care to avoid crushing the alien, and through the pits with care and speed. When you pull over, be careful to avoid scratching the tires, and if you don't know it, you better look down
3. Maintaining the dynamic balance of tyres
As a result of the unevenness of tyres within the rubber material tissue during the processing process, differences in the size of the parts ' exterior, errors in the size of the assembly and the location of the air doors, the weight of the wheel does not overlap with the centre of the rotation, creating an imbalanced centrifugal power during high-speed rotations, resulting in continuous vibrations of the wheel, vibrations of the wheel leading to directional vibration, accelerated wear of suspensions, shifting of parts of the system and of the axes inside the wheel, and increased driving difficulties for vehicles with large vibrations, resulting in unsafe driving. Thus, the balance of wheels is a very important task for modern cars, which, before leaving the factory, are required to conduct a dynamic balancing test to detect the internal and external imbalances of the circle and to balance the right position on the edge of the wheel to achieve the desired dynamic balance。
In day-to-day use, it should be avoided that the disequilibrium upsets the balance. If the tyre is punctured, it needs to be replaced once it has been separated from the circle, filled and re-assembled, and even if marked before being removed, it is difficult to re-establish its original position, which means that the dynamic balance of the original tyre has been destroyed and therefore a rebalancing has to be made。
