On 23 april, an intellectual property promotion week in the city of sian was held at the western shadow building in xinjiang district. The event, which focused on “intellectual property rights and artificial intelligence”, focused on the theme “intellectual property law, playing innovation drives the strongest voices of development” and aimed to deepen the cultural diffusion of intellectual property rights, raise awareness of intellectual property rights protection throughout society and create a climate conducive to the construction of a “double model” of intellectual property rights in the city of sian. The party secretary and director of the department of intellectual property of shaanxi province, shen liping, the party secretary and director of the xian city market supervisory authority (ipo) participated in the event。
At the site of the event, a white paper on the development and protection of intellectual property rights in western sahara 2024 was officially published by the city of sian market supervisory authority. The white paper shows that the work on intellectual property rights in the city of sian was very successful in 2024, with 51,372 licensed patents on intellectual property in the city of sian, 81. 6 patents per 10,000 inventions, 33 patents per 10,000 high-value inventions, 51,6729 valid trademark registrations throughout the year and 55,104 registered copyright works. The city of xian has set up a comprehensive intellectual property protection system for the judicial, administrative and co-protection of intellectual property, with 448 cases of administrative enforcement of intellectual property by the municipal market supervision authority. A total of 24,310 (several) advisory services were provided by 89 human rights support service workstations throughout the city, 7,100 dispute counselling sessions were conducted and 201 online and offline training sessions were organized。
At the site of the event, the first joint workstations of the western city intellectual property defence assistance service were awarded, which will integrate cross-sectoral resources, establish efficient enforcement mechanisms, provide “one-stop” intellectual property protection services for businesses and the public, and contribute to the establishment of national intellectual property protection model areas. The ministry of communication of the csa (the copyright authority) has issued the second series of the list of priority enterprises in the copyright industry, the establishment of which effectively promotes the centralization of resources for the protection of copyright assets and the defence of the core interests of enterprises. The shift of the copyright industry from “passive defence” to “active innovation” through policy focus, resource bias and institutional safeguards, leading to the synergistic development of economic, cultural and social benefits.
